Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We hired Tax Results in 6/2011 for a fee of $3650 to help file 10 years of taxes and reduce of debt with a possible Offer in Compromise. We went through 5-6 agents in the course of 2 1/2 years. Finally, in Aug, 2013, after very little help from them, and them asking for another $1500 to file the OIC, with the advice from our Tax Advocate, we did our own OIC.

We would call them, leave messages, send emails and get very little response if any at all. There was one agent who was wonderful who was with us for several months, and he left because he told me he wasn't happy there. Good for him! Basically all they did for us was file our taxes for us. We had four years that got stuck somewhere in the system and for about a year, I had to call the IRS every other month to get an extension, to see what the hold up was. When I would try to get answers from Tax Results, all I got was the run around and blubber.

The last agent we were assigned was USELESS! I would call and speak with Brad and tell him my complaints, only to be transferred to this agent. Basically, Brad was useless also. Finally, on one of my bi-monthly calls, an IRS agent asked if I had a Tax Advocate and I said no. She referred me to one, and by the end of 2012 we had some actioin moving. She also had a difficult time contacting our agent and getting responses from them regarding our case.

When she got the mess cleared up and all the issues resolved, we were ready to proceed with the OIC, I contaced Tax Results to see about that. They told us what they could do but it would cost us $1500 more dollars, and that was giving us a $200 discount. When I spoke with our Tax Advocate again, she encouraged us not to pay anyone any money but to do it on our own and use that money to put it toward what we could pay. That's what we did. Once we filled out the paperwork, the amount we got the OIC to was about the same if not a little less that what Tax Results was going to do. All they were going to do was fill numbers into a formula in the forms, which is all they can do, but they wanted to take more money from us. Please, like it cost that much to fill in the blanks?!
