Simple story here. I was recruited by one of Derek Thomas's employees to do some modeling. It worked out fine at first, I did my gigs and was paid in a timely manner. Then all of a sudden compensation for my gigs stopped. Silly me kept taking new jobs, relying in good faith that Taxi Mgmt. would pay me. I followed up several times requesting payment, and was ignored. I was finally contacted by the owner Derek Thomas who told me he had checks at his office waiting for me. I stopped by to pick them up when he told me to come by, but no one was there. So I called him and after a week or so he claimed the checks were sent to me and cashed (patently false). Then he claimed that someone in his accounts payable department was pilfering moneys. I told him that wasn't my problem and that he owed me money. He has since gone silent on me. We're reporting him to the Secretary of State scam department, and the Better Business Bureau.
STAY AWAY FROM TAXI MGMT. AND THE DECEPTIVE DEREK THOMAS.
