TCT Trans continental talent ripoff false promises New York New York
My 15yr. old son came home from the mall today all excited. A man approached him at the mall and said he was 'perfect" for a modeling job he had for him. He then pointed to pictures of Gap models on the stores windows, and told my son this is what he can be doing.
The creep made it sound like my son was going to be an instant celebrity. I felt bad having to break it to my son that this was probably just a scam. I called the 'talent scout' and spoke to him directly.
He said TCT works with many agencies, and they were responsible for getting Tobey Maquire (Spiderman) his start.I asked the scout alot of questions about TCT and the answers i received were...um, well,and uh,. ..but, the bottom line was they wanted lots of money to put my son's face on their website.
It just really, really pisses me off that they would approach a child and fill his head with dreams like that. So, Senior Scout Jason L Stutz, who has been with TCT since April.....Do you feel any remorse at all for lying to children? You are despicable.

Laurie: I two was approached by one of these talent scouts at the Staten Island mall. Just to let everyone know I am very overweight and would not be considered pretty. All my life people have made fun of me, when I was a child kids used to throw Rocks at me and call me names. When I was in college I was in a car accident and had to have plastic surgery done and have been very disfigured for the past few years. People always stare at me when I go out so when that evil scout came over to me I thought it was to ask me to leave the mall or something but no he asked if i ever thought about modeling. I broke down and cried me a model wow it was like a miricle I was so filled with hope and promise of a new life and I did some research and found this site and now i know the truth thank you for a moment i felt like that little girl again and felt the pain of those rocks against my skin and could hear those kids tomenting me. Bless you laurie for now I know it was all a trick. I hope that scout of yours pays for this in Hell. If you know anything about him forward the information to me and maybe we can sue them together and make some money.
