We contracted with Team USA Moving to transport a car and our household goods from Hayward, CA to Las Vegas Nevada. The car was to be picked up 5-19 and the household goods no later than 5-22.

What follows is an online conversation regading the car not being picked up and the inabiltiy of Team USA to pick up household goods as contracted:

Operator: My name is Eric. How may I help you today?

you: MY son in law and daughter are getting the run around about a car that was to be picked up yesterday and they have had no call and no pick up

you: Sean and Dave are not returning their calls

Operator: the name

you: Last name is Scovill, they are also waiting for a truck to move their apartment belongings

Operator: let me check on this for you

you: ok

you: Are you still checking?

Operator: yes

you: Thank you

Operator: Your patience is appreciated. I will be with you shortly

you: No problem

you: Eric are you still working on this?

Operator: yes

Operator: our dispatch manager is doing the best we can right now

you: ok i will wait then

you: Can you please give me the managers name for my records?

Operator: Dispatch manager is Tina Anderson

you: Thank you Eric I will wait

you: Still working on it?

Operator: alright

Operator: here we go

you: ok

you: what's the deal Eric?

Operator: My dispatch manager has tried and tried to have a truck there

Operator: We have not had any success for the dates that are needed

Operator: Unfortunately there is not much we can do to have someone there as early as 5/22

you: are we talking stricly for the car? or the entire move?

you: the movers were to be there by 5/22 no later

Operator: well for the furniture

you: and the car?

Operator: but for the car we could still seek to get it picked up but it hasnt been assigned to a carrier yet

Operator: so i dont have a timeframe right now on how long it would take

you: but it has been paid for in full and was promised to be picked up yesterday

Operator: i understand your position and we fully felt we could get the job done but right now we cant. we will certainly refund the full amount

you: The furniture will be picked up no later than 5/22?! A refund will be needed immediatley for the car, that is just unacceptable business practices. I do thank you for your help but this does not bode well for your company practices

you: My son in law will call for his refund and we will expect no problems with the furniture pick up by Saturday?

Operator: let me make sure we are on the same page, we can not pick up the furniture

Operator: the car is still a possibility if you wanted

you: you cannot pick up the furniture? at all?

you: it too has been paid for with a deposit

Operator: not at that time

Operator: i know

you: Ok lets get this clear you cannot pick up the furniture by the 22nd? and the car is still up in the air

Operator: thats correct

you: ok fine he will call for refunds of both amounts and we will report this to the better business bureau. Your business practices are quite unacceptable, to promise someone certain dates then after the fact say "sorry cannot do the job" Buut take the money ? hum there will be others that this is reported to also Eric.

Operator: my customer service manager is on the phone right now with Matt

you: fine they can work it out thank you for your help this is a BIG mess

Bottom line is they were paid in full for the auto transport and given a deposit of one half for the household move and they are unable to pick up either the car of houshold goods as contracted. We are left to transprt our goods ourselves and they have not made an attempt to refund any money as of today.
