Ted's Tire Filterless Oil Change Oceanside California
I recently took my Audi to Ted's Tire for an advertised $19.95 oil change. Upon being asked for my preference of oil (synthetic), I am still okay with the now $69.95 price. Ten (10) minutes later when my car comes out of the shop Ted inform's me that he didn't have the right filter for my car but it's no big deal, that car has a filter that is good for extra miles and if I bring it back in 3000 miles I will get the next oil change for 50 percent off. I attempted to have a conversation about this and instead watch Ted's back disappear into the shop. I stop the next day and Ted is not available. I received no response to continued phone and text messages. I accept my responsibility for not doing my research but I guess my big question is why is this guy still in business ???
