My wife and I are over 60 years old so we have bought a few vehicles during our lifetime. Our recent purchase of a Ram Laramie from Tempe Dodge was the worst vehicle purchase experience ever. The vehicle that we requested was located and dealer traded. We took delivery after a normal inspection. After a few days we took the vehicle to have it professionally detailed. The detailer pointed out several roof dents and 18+ fish eyes and dirt nibs in the paint indicating that the truck had been repainted after leaving the factory. We had the vehicle inspected by Tempe Dodge. During the inspection we also pointed out that the rear glass, side mirrors and windshield had pitting. Tempe Dodge refused to acknowledge that the dealer from which they received the truck had repainted it. We obtained (3) inspection reports from independent body
shops who all concluded that the truck had indeed been repainted and in fact had body repair work performed. Tempe Dodge has repaired the roof dents and replaced some of the glass but has refused to do anything relative to the fact that the truck had been repainted. We didn't bargin for a truck with pre-existing damage. It's not our fault the Tempe Dodge missed seeing the damage when they did their pre delivery inspection - if in fact they even did one. They have refused to
do anything in regard to the paint or make any offer relative to the depreciated value of the truck that they sold to us.  Mike Breyfogle, the general manager has not even had the courtesy to respond to our correspondence that was directed to him concerning this matter. This dealership clearly operates without morals or ethics and have terrible customer service when major issues are involved.

Let me get this straight, what you are saying is if a dealer fails to disclose preexisting damage as required by most state laws, then it is the consumer's fault and the dealer should not be held responsible.  Seeing hail damage on the roof of a truck or glass pitting or fish eyes and dirt nibs in a paint job are not something that normal people look for at the time of delivery.  You're comment, especially in a matter that does not concen you, illustrates your stupidity.

The dealer has gone out of his way to help you with the truck. I don't see the Ripoff here, just your failure to exercise care BEFORE signing on the dotted line. Nope, I don't work for them, don't even know them.
