We have been looking at homes and saw this builders open house information. We made an offer and was going to have an inspector look at the home. The findings came back very negative about the quality of the home, we decided not to purchase this home.

The surprising part came next with what we heard from another person that supposedly had a home in the community it turns out that their inspector was paid off by the builder to give it a clean bill of health.

I have been called many times by Veronica about purchasing this home almost to the point of harassment, and would never buy from them. I hope that no one fall victim to their tactics.

As the designer of these homes for Terra Cotta homes, I visited these homes many times during construction.

Terra Cotta Homes does a fine job building homes.

I've known Brett and Veronica for many Years. I have never known them to be anything but straight up and honest.

Anyone looking at buying one of their homes should be very happy with their product.

Rebuttal To Fraudalent Claims

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wed, March 04, 2009

This report alleges that this "John R" person put in an offer on one of our homes, then had an inspector perform an inspection on that home. We do not know a "John R". One would assume that should a perspective buyer hire a company to perform an inspection on a home, that buyer would have a contract to purchase the home first. We have not anyone back out of a contract thus far. As a result of these allegations, we are demanding that this "John R" produce both a copy of the contract to purchase this home together with this alleged inspection report. For we know that neither exist. This report also alleges that Terra Cotta Homes "paid off" an inspector from a previous sale in the neighborhood. First, Terra Cotta does not hire inspectors. The buyers hire the inspectors and the seller does not even know who is performing the inspection. The inspector is an agent of the buyer. Second, the claim that an inspector was "paid off" is untrue. Therefor, we request the name of the party that provided this information to this "John R" individual. All these accusations are very serious in nature. They should be supported by facts. Please produce the facts that back up your claims. Please reference our builder profile registered with the Texas Residential Construction Commission: https://www.trcc.state.tx.us/(qfdc3a24hkcuom55fevathrw)/recordsearch.builderdetail.aspx?builderID=105988&type=B Please give us a call @ (713) 467-2688 We certainly hope that this is not a result of the horse stable owner down the street who is upset with us placing Open House signs out on the weekends. But we suspect that it is.
