The College Prep Center Of La Mesa California Fraudulent Recurring Charges San Diego California
Like others, The College Prep Center of La Mesa, California solicited us on the phone telling us that our daughter had signed up for their services at her high school.
Unfortunately we were duped and we ordered the CD. We did receive the CD and were billed for the materials on our next credit card, but we continually get charged $49.95 every month for nothing.
We tried to contact them using the number provided but just get voice mail and we have yet to get a response from the merchant. We also notified our credit card company that this a fraudulent charge and we were originally advised to change our credit card number. That did not work as the numbers are linked to the same account. Today we cancelled our credit card, but according to our credit card company, we are still responsible for over the amount due until the date we cancelled our card!
