Bought an item for $160, worth $30. Bought a ring, paid $550 worth $100. Hidden charges only declared after I signed the contract. EXTREMLY dishonest bad business practices. They prey on people trying to build credit. NOT A COMPANY I WILL EVER DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN!

They filed for Chapter 7 last November and have totally shut down. However, be warned that they sold accounts to a collection agency/junk debt buyer, Rash Curtis Associates in Northern California. My husband is at war with them now, as they are trying to collect on an account that the Diamond Center was told back in 2003 that they could not collect on, due to the gross misrepresentation of merchandise (5/8 ct "diamond" was not a diamond). We defeated the other collection agency (Professional Recovery Associates) they assigned the account to in Superior Court and may have to do the same with this one. Anyone having issues with this, please feel free to contact the company in charge of the bankruptcy, as well as the Trustee. On November 30, 2006, the company filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 7 of the federal Bankruptcy Act, case number 34202. CMA Business Credit Service, 40 E. Verdugo Avenue, Burbank, CA, 91502.

The Diamond Center, America's Credit Jeweler, has been in businees for over thirty years. We have been able to stay in business for this long only because we have thousands of satisfied customers who continue shopping at the Diamond Center in order to fullfill their Jewelry and Credit needs. As a company, our misssion is to grant financing of Jewelry to customers of diverse backgrounds, needs and circumstances who have sorces of income sufficient to make future paymnets and want to establish or re-eastablish their credit. It is our business policy not to condone or not to be associated with any predatory or deceptive tactics We do not have any hidden charges in our sales/security agreement or in any of our business practices. It is our policy to disclose charges (such as the price of the merchandise,sales taxes and warranty charges, clearly and legibly in our security/sales agreement which is signed by the customer. The customer also receives a copy of the signed contract at the time of the sale.
