The Digital Camera Pros Rip Offs Pros the use Bait and Switch Internet
I ordered an Olympus TG-830 on Friday evening 11/15/13 and then rec'd an email on Monday the 18th saying to call them back to confirm my order and when I did they asked if I had intended to buy the Turkish model rather than the US model. I told them nothing on their website said anything about two different models and that I wanted the US model of course. He said well the US model is $199 rather than $164 so I cancelled my order even though he said I would not find it cheaper than $199 anywhere. But he said they were out of the US model so that is why the website did not show there being a Turkish and US model. ….but they usually still have 4-5 so he could probably still get me one for $199. The person I talked to was very rude as well. These people are crooks and I'm worried that they have my credit card number and 3-digit code.
