Hi, I am a SAG actor and an employee of Hollywood Group for over seven years. All of my adult actor friends would give their eye teeth to be in the business as a child with cheap effective pics (my last shoot with copies was over 1200), inexpensive and excellent training from working actors, (my school AADA is now over 50kand it takes three years before they let you try to get an agent so you dont make them look bad by being ill prepared) and bi-monthly opportunities to meet face to face; agents, casting directors and producers-let alone work as an extra while training.
I read angry frightened parents who never joined, and not a single mom or dad who did.
Fear is only over come by information.
Out staff is small and doesnt make a lot of money. We believe in what we are doing and are SAG actors.
Our kids get a real chance at making it as an actor in LA. Our parents get a very, very inexpensive program that allows them to actually make the money back.
You want facts,
I know a dad whose son made over 50k last year through HG. The dad does luggage at LAX.
I know a boy who three years ago got Cs and now through HG is a 3.7 and is going pre med. He never got an agent but guess what his mom is very happy because thats what we teach-nothing is automatic-its all the quest.
We teach work ethic and reward it by being an actor. Our kids go to college and major in everything BUT acting-why- because thats what we teach.
WE ARE NOT A FREE LUNCH-NO SUCH THING.
We are real.
Our parents love us.
We have two offices, LA and SD. In each office is an employee who was and is a member with their child. One has a daughter with an agent who auditions and sometimes books small stuff working her way up as I did, the other was too shy to do anything and is now through HG a TV star. Both parents asked and now work at Hollywood Group.
Real SAG agents call us when they need marketable professionally trained (you have to have both) kids.
Some of our parents are SAG actors, entertainment lawyers, policemen, producers, and even a DGA (Directors Guild of America) director.
I have been offer ten times the small money I make helping kids do what I do and I turn it down because this is the only place I believe in.
I hope even one parent reads this then this is worth it.

We have kids at every level-back ground, with agent and auditioning for nationals, booking nationals, and stars.
