Complaint Review: the "it" Factor with Alycia Kaback - Feasterville, Pennsylvania Internet

Hi I call myself Mr.Keeps being scouted because talent scouts from the it factor with alycia kaback keep scouting me everywhere I go, from the mall to the streets even china town. The first time I was scouted I was with my girlfriend and we  were walking in the mall when a young lady from 20-25 asked me "if I ever considered being a model." She then took a second look at the my girlfriend and proposed to her the same idea. We were young and unfortunately, I gave them my information and even went to an orientation at 6:30 pm where I would learn about the company and the actors they work with.

After I was in a room with a medley of people for half and hour, which consisted of normal looking people, good looking people, and oddly funny looking people. We watched an episode of the office I believe and they claimed to have found a lead star on the show his role but wouldn't easy who. Client confidentiality....right then afterwards we had our names called out and were lead into an office where an uptight young women looked you up and down and then asks you to do a model walk.

I'm calling her uptight is because I don't remember her name and she had an attitude like she didn't really want to work with me and I was wasting her time which would make sense except she then proceeded to ask me what kind of packages would I like to buy, I told her I'm a college student how am I suppose to pay $750.00 for professional head shots and $2000.00 for a trip to NYC so I can meet with potential employers. Then she said if you want to make it in this industry then you must invest in yourself, we can do the payments in installments if you would like.

That was the last red flag and I kindly said "I'm sorry I was a waste of time but I never wanted to be a model or in movies your talent scout approached me and I'm of course willing to work but I have no money to begin with." She then quickly scheduled me an appointment for the next day with their casting director. I never showed up because when I walked out I noticed everyone in that room with me during the orentation which was around 25-30 people had all made it to the appointment with the casting director.

I'm glad I never came back for the second meeting, now a days I'll be scouted by the same company and I tell them I believe you guys are only looking for people who can pay you and a real talent agency would get you jobs and take a percentage of the pay. They then tell me over and over that they trained very hard for this job and that it was not a scam. Maybe not maybe so, but to this day I still receive phone calls from them asking me to come in for an appointment to which I reply "I have no money that's why I wanted to sign up" and they reply "well call us back if your money situation improves."

I'm glad I actually have a brain and not just talent according to alycia kaback. If a real talent agency wants you they will not ask you to pay for anything unless it was scamming talent agency that only made real income from the poor naive people thinking they can be rich and famous. This is the new pyramid scheme, be careful especially if you have children people may approach you and say your chiand would be great for tv but they just want your model not you or your child. You've been warned, I mean seriously what kind of modeling company goes out on the streets to look for talent. 

JUST TO ADD...THEY ALSO HAVE A SALES TEAM CALLING PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN SIGNED TO COME IN AND BE APART OF THEIR SHENANIGANS...BEWARE!!!!!

Many people feel scammed because they make a huge investment and build a lot of hope for little return. I was a talent scout for 3 weeks, which will only have been worth it if I can help other people make up their minds about the company and their "opportunities." I have candidly described my experience in my last newsletter and vlog.

I took my daughter to the last V.I.P. summit that Alycia Kaback had at Caroline's in New York City. I paid the money. Yep, it was expensive. But I don't think renting out Caroline's was cheap. We met some actors from TV and Movies, not huge actors, but recognizable actors, none the less. Actors from Broadway, authors and producers.

She even met Teri Bostaji, the director of Wilhelmina Kids and Teens. She will be meeting her again for a full interview. This company never claimed to be agents. This company had always done exactly what they said they would. Manage my daughters modeling. From sending us on castings, to fashion shows and helping to build her portfolio on and offline. They offer workshops, monthly for Q&A with directors, actors, singers, authors. They may not be A list actors and such, but this company is fairly new and I see big things in her and their future. Invest in yourself if you have it. You don't have to go to thesummits, but it was quite and amazing experience. My daughter ahd a ball and met many wonderful people. So, before you believe complaints online, sit down and talk to someone there. One of the knowledgable people in their staff. Baby Steps.

I just attended a VIP event in NYC and it was a very valid networking event. I was really nervous because I had to pay to attend but it was completely worth it. I am so glad I didn't listen to any of these scam reports, the contacts I made from this event were amazing!
