If you are going to use a company for a lawn service, stay clear of TLC. First off they don't use the materials that you signed up for, like for example if you signed up for grub proofing that doesn't mean you will get grub proofing, might just end up with regular fert. Sometimes the company runs out of a material and instead of waiting for the proper material to come in, they will tell their employees to put down reg fert cause the customer doesn't know the difference. I've seen it with my own eyes. Also if you get lime watch out, they over charge you and only put down 15pounds of lime per 1000ft. Which is totally wrong. They should be putting down 50pounds per 1000ft and some people get 50pounds but not many, only people who look online and find out the truth. Then those people will get the right amount but everybody else is only getting 15pounds which does nothing for your PH on your lawn. My opinion don't get their lime, do it yourselves save money and make your lawn look the way it should with lime. Also they mix all their chemicals in one tank which is a no no is this business. They don't work as good if mixed but they do it anyways so they can do more lawns per day. They might say they sprayed for crabgrass but don't believe it just because it says so on your form. That's why the company has so many service calls because it was not done correctly the first time, have seen it with my own eyes.and the last thing to watch out for is the square footage on your lawn, company uses property maps to figure out of big your lawn is, I have seen a 8000sq ft lawn getting charged for a 30000sq ft lawn. They think the woods counts as square feet but that's only overcharging the customer big time. Trugreen or )awndawg I hear do a pretty good job and don't use these tactics to get more money off people so I would use one of them over TLC anyday of the week. Don't be fooled, you will have weeds and crabgrass if yoou use this company
