WHEN I MOVED OUT OF THIS APARTMENT AT THE END OF MY LEASE , THE APARTMENT MANAGER TURNED INTO SOME NON HUMAN PERSON.
MY APARTMENT WAS ALWAYS CLEAN AND WELL KEPT.
THE CARPET WHEN I MOVED IN WAS CLEANED BUT DEFINATLY NOT NEW. I KNEW THIS BECAUSE IT WAS STILL DAMP FROM THE CLEANER.
I CLEANED MY APARTMENT WHEN I MOVED OUT , OVEN , FRIDGE , TUBS , TOILETS ETC. I INADVERTANLY FORGOT ONE KITCHEN CABINET WITH MY COOKING SPICES AND WHEN I REALIZED I CALLED THE OFFICE TO SEE IF THEY HAD GONE IN YET , SHE SAID YES. I SAID OH WELL OK I UNDERSTAND.
DURING MY 1 YEAR , A SEAM IN THE HALL CARPET STARTED TO TEAR. IT COULD HAVE BEEN REPAIRED. OTHER THAN THAT THE APARTMENT WAS READY TO RENT.
NOW THE COMPLEX IS SAYING I OWE THEM OVER 2K FOR CARPET REPLACEMENT, RESURFACING OF COUNTERS (WHAT!!!???) PAINTING THE APARTMENT WHICH WAS NOTHING MORE THAN NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR., CLEANING , ( AGAIN , WHAT??!!) MAYBE 1 SMALL CABINET IN KITCHEN..
AND A BARAGE OF OTHER INSANE CHARGES. PLUS A LEASE TERMINATION FEE ( LEASE WAS UP JAN 31) I MOVED OUT BEFORE THAT .
SO I LOOKED ON YELP AND APPARENTLY THIS PLACE IS NOTORIOUS FOR DOING THIS TO PEOPLE .
MY EX NEIGHBOR MOVED OUT ALSO AND GAVE 30 DAY NOTICE WHILE ON MONTH TO MONTH LEASE AND THEY STILL CHARGED HIM A WHOLE MONTHS RENT!!
MY NEXT ACTION IS FILING A COMPLAINT WITH BBB AND I AM GETTING AN ATTORNEY ALSO .
