On 6/8/01 I took my family to the Transit Drive-In Theater. At the drive-in you pay one price and you see 2 movies. The 1st movie was "Shrek" a PG movie followed by "The Mummy Returns". It was to start at 9:20. At 9:27 coming attractions came on the big screen and we were ready for the movie to start. The movie that started was "Evolution"(the wrong movie!)it played for about 10 minutes. They then shut the movie off and with no explanation didn't start the movie "Shrek" for 1 hour later. I went to the box office and demanded my money back. The kid said "sorry no refunds" I demanded a Mananger. The kid told me to go to the snack shop and called the Manager and told him we were coming. By now the movie had started and now we were missing it. I went to the snack shop and I was told "there is no Manager here, he is up at the box office" I knew they were playing games with me. I waited to talk to the Manager. The Manager said "n refunds because the movie already started" I explained that the movie started 1 hour late and we were trying to get our money back prior to the film starting. I asked for the owner. The owner came out I told him what happen. He said "listen, your not getting your money back. You should just leave" I told him that we drove 40 miles to get here. He simply smirked and yelled "have a nice drive home" and walked away. I left without seeing any movies in there entirty and without getting any money back.
