I'm glad my posting was helpful to someone. I think the key is refusing delivery of the package so there is a paper trail with UPS. Once you take posession the situation becomes a whole different matter with your credit card company. The other important key to receiving a refund is staying on top of the matter with your credit card company and ZAKEN. My emails and faxes were straightforward and threatening, not to mention the truth if they did not process the credit. Please follow the other suggestion I made about forwarding this site to all the email addresses you receive information from about other business opportunities, and the magazines who accept his bogus ads. You can write letters all day long to the beaurocrats and maybe someday 5 years down the road he will be hauled into court, but how many more victims will he scam before then? Networking is a powerful tool if put to proper use, and we all have the power with a click of our mouse. USE IT WISELY!

I finally got my refund back from The Zaken Company. It took 10 days to get my money back. I like to thank Rip-Off Report for bringing The Zaken Company to light for what it really is. I also like to thank Rayne for my support.

I too sent the $174.00 in before I found this site. I immediately called my credit card company and reported the rip-off and told them I did not want them to honor the charge. I told them that I had not received the material in the stated time frame and I would be refusing delivery. I actually stayed home for a couple of days to make sure I didn't miss MR. UPS. I refused the package and confirmed such with my credit card company. I also cancelled the card and explained I didn't want them helping themselves to any further items they felt I should have and didn't want. I did get my refund, but you got to stay on them. I also wrote, faxed, emailed ZAKEN several times telling him what I was doing. That was the fun part while I waited for my credit. I have another suggestion to everyone who has been TAKEN by ZAKEN. I don't know about you but 9 out of 10 emails I receive is a business opportunity, how good or how bad I don't know I never open them up. I generally report them as spam and block them from sending in the future. However, every one of these people are like us, potential victims of this rip-off. I say post this favorite place to every one of them and resend. I guarantee if nothing else ZAKEN'S name will be all over the internet within hours, plus more people will be aware of this site and can check out all opportunities, including the crud they are pushing. I can hardly get on line these days for all the crap thats floating around, so atleast we will all be doing a good thing for potential victims. Also write the letters others have suggested. Eventually ZAKEN will be TAKEN DOWN.
