Was checking out Olympus TG-830 ihs digital camera (blue) on Amazon. Price was $239. Saw an ad below that the same camera could be purchased for $174 with camera case, free card reader, free lens cleaning kit,LCD Screen protector, tripod and free shipping from TheDigitalPros.com. I jumped on that and my wife put the order on her credit card. The next day she got a call from them stating we bought the turkish version and that the English version was $199. Also said it didn't come with a battery or charger. She was told that would be $10 extra for a total of $209. When my wife said she wanted to cancel, they told her there would be a restocking fee before she even agreed to buy it with the increases. When she told him she would just buy the battery at a battery store, he rudely said "Are you going to buy the camera there too!" So she went along and purchased the battery and recharger. When I got home from work, we immediately called VISA and tried to put a stop to it, but they already charge her $239 (the same price I could have paid on Amazon). Anyway, we will see what comes, if anything and file a dispute with Amazon. Hope this helps others to look elsewhere and avoid this shady company. I plan to file consumer complaints with government agencies next.
