TherapyPet.org Fell off the face of the earth once they had my money Internet
I was relocating and my regular therapist wasn't available due to weather-related problems. Since I was under a time crunch, so I thought these guys would be fast and easy.
Wrong.
They took my money quickly enough, and then someone named Jordan called me the next day to verify some contact info. I'd paid extra to have the whole thing expedited and he assured me I'd have my letter within two business days.
Wrong again.
When I didn't receive it as promised, I called the number Jordan had used multiple times and always got voicemail. I left numerous messages and sent emails as well. I never got a response from anyone.
In the meantime I needed to move into my new place and my therapist was reachable again, so I got my letter from her. I asked TherapyPet (this was well over a week later) to give me a refund before I took it up with my bank.
As expected, crickets.
I've asked my bank to initiate a refund and filed a complaint with the FTC. In the meantime, TherapyPet has the nerve to keep spamming me with emails trying to upsell me on their other products. I was dumb enough to fall for their scam once, but I'm not THAT dumb.
Seriously folks, just get a letter from your regular doctor or therapist. At most you'll pay for an office visit. Hope these guys get put out of business.
