I would like to make it clear to all, I did not click on any third party icon whilst on "thetrainline.co.uk" site. As for coupons, I do not buying on the net that a coupon would give me an advantage.
My ticket, if bought at the rail station was around 78.00 & now the ticket has cost me close to 100.00. I only got to know months later when I got paperwork from my card company.
I visited their sit as I said, there are many complaint about this company & none I saw were linked to "thetrainline.co.uk" they all have the same storey as I have had.
As for giving them permission to use my card details, I can say I did not & they could have only got it from "thetrainline.co.uk." I was under the belief that this is not allowed, I have limited knowledge on buying on line but I do know I never asked for this & have no use for this type of site.
Below I have pasted a part of their reply: I would like to finish this by saying that, Complete Savings has never e-mailed me as they say they do & only did when I complained to them. They did offer me 20.00 but I want it all back.
