I saw an advertisement for a Sylvester/Tweety clock on television around Christmas, 2001. Since Tweety bird is one of my mother's favorite characters, I decided to get it for her for a Christmas present.

The television advertisement claimed that if you purchased the clock right away they would send a remote control with your clock.

I had the merchandise billed to me, but had it sent directly to my mother, who lives about 275 miles away. When she received the merchandise there was NO remote included as promised. I tried to contact the company via their advertised webpage, only to find that it didn't exist. I did manage to locate a telephone number which I attempted to call on more than one occasion.

When trying to reach the company by telephone I normally would get a recorded message which stated that they were unable to take calls at that time and to leave your name, address, date of call and time of day, along with your reason for calling and they would get back to you. That was a JOKE! I left all of the information on their answering machine and have NEVER heard from them. Good thing I wasn't holding my breath!

It is now April 2002 and I just recently visited my mother. When we arrived she told us that something had gone wrong with he clock (had made some funny sound and then just quit working). We thought that perhaps it was just dead batteries, so we replaced them and tried the "demo" button on the clock. Nothing happens. It's useless after only FOUR months!

My mother also had an advertisement from another company for the exact same clock at $20 less than what I was charged by Think Tek. What a rip off! And I'm sure the other company probably stands behind their products ~ unlike this one appears to.

I wouldn't suggest buying anything from this company. If you purchase something from them and it breaks a few weeks later ~ you're still an owner! Consider yourself out the money you paid for it ~ while they're laughing all the way to the bank!

Which fuse do I need?

My hubby took apart our scooter when it broke after 2 hours use. He took the fuse out and lost it. Does anyone know what replacement fuse we need? Wanting to fix or trash the thing!

I ordered the silver bomber scooter from think tek and when the fuse blew and I contacted the (I got an operator immediately) they did not just send me one replacement fuse, but over 20 for future use. I feel for the woman who had trouble with her communication, but I am a satisfied, multiple-time customer.
