Complaint Review: Tiffany Cozart Photography - Jay Florida

I know Tiffany and her husband have filed for bankruptcy. I received my notice (as I have a judgment against her) in the mail 2 weeks ago. She filed for bankruptcy 2 days before a "execution of judgment" hearing and the hearing was cancelled. She is a loser and a coward and always will be. It is unfortunate that she has been able to do what she's done to people with no criminal recourse. It is also unfortunate that she continues to advertise her services on her website when she has no intentions offollowing through on anything. One word - karma. What goes around comes around, and sometimes it comes around three-fold.I hope she is enjoying going back to school for her EMT license,riding around in the Hummer and having plastic surgery and tattoos on my and everyone else's dime. But I guess it's started to sort of "come around" for her as she also filed for divorce. So, divorce then bankruptcy, but that hasn't stopped her antics around town. Trust me. Also,I have no way to contact the most recent person who posted simply by the listing of "S." If someone needs to contact me, as stated above,I am on FB.

It is unfortunate there is now yet another victim of Tiffany Cozart's fraud. I would suggest you look up the Small Claims Rules in the county where you were married or where you actually entered into the contract with her. The clerk's website should show the rules as well as the forms and filing fees. As you can see from my report and update it is a process, but one that needs to be followed in order for Tiffany to understand that it isn't right what she is doing. Or, is it mainly the principle of the matter? I think it's both really as I don't feel she really gives a hoot what she has done or who she is doing it to. I form this opinion from my experience with her as well as having been in personal contact with 2 other couples that she has done this to. All 3 (couples) of us filed suit against her in Escambia County. My case # is 2009SC005965. You can look it up and basically see the process of a small claims suit. My husband and I were married in March 2009 and used Tiffany as our photographer. Needless to say, we have not received any of our photos, disks, or photo album that we paid her $3300 dollars for.  We have heard all of the lame excuses . . . and now it is like she has fallen off the face of the earth.  If you have any advice on filing a lawsuit against her my husband and I would greatly appreciate it.

I am writing to update my previous report. In December 2009 I filed suit against Tiffany Cozart (naming her individually and her 2 business names) in Escambia County, Florida Small Claims Court. The address that she has given out (Cozart Lane in Jay, FL) was incorrect as were all of the addresses and phone numbers she has listed on various sites and documents. The Cozart Lane address was a vacant house according to the process server. The neighbor, who happened to be Tiffanys mother-inlaw, told the process server that Tiffany was no longer in photography and that she had moved to Pensacola with her mother Judy Delmendo. She also told the process server that she now works at a doctors office in Pensacola. The process server served Tiffany with the lawsuit and Notice to Appear (at her work). She appeared with her estranged husband at the pre-trial conference on March 24, 2010. She gave my attorney 2 discs full of the same pictures along with a copyright release. (She has actually done this with 2 other couples: given them discs and a copyright release, tells them the actual photos are coming, and the couples dont hear from her at all.)The judge set the case for a final hearing on May 21. Tiffany told my attorney that she was sorry that she hadnt followed through with her end of the contract and was contemplating bankruptcy (this would be her second in 14 or so years) and told him she would have all of the actual photos to him before the final hearing. She also gave him an incorrect cell phone number (go figure). Well, May 21 came and went. Tiffany did not appear at the final hearing nor did she produce the actual photos. The judge entered a Final Judgment against her in my favor. The Final Judgment will be recorded in the official records of Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties so it will show up if and when she decides to obtain any loans, etc.

I filed a complaint against her with the Florida Attorney Generals office. They sent me a letter stating that she would not cooperate with them and told me to get an attorney. They told me, however, to encourage others who Tiffany has scammed to file reports with their office. It is very easy and not at all time consuming. I filed a complaint with the Consumer Fraud Division of the State Attorneys Office (Pensacola division). They advised me to file a formal criminal complaint with the Escambia County Sheriffs office. I intend to do this in the very near future. I will advise the sheriffs department as I did with the Florida Attorney Generals office and the State Attorneys Office that she has 10 total complaints on this site, 10 on the Better Business Bureau and is still advertising her services on her website not to mention her stating she is a member of various photographer/photography organizations when their databases have no record of her.

I think I understand why she cant hold up her end of any contract. She apparently is too busy flouncing around Pensacola in the 2-3 cars (one is a Hummer) that her and her estranged husband own, a gym membership with a personal trainer, new tattoos and continuously, according to pictures, goes out on the town. But then blames her not being able to follow through on things, on her and her young sons (1 of 3) health. One word - Karma. I encourage all who read this, if she has taken your hard-earned money and given you nothing to show for it, do something about it!
