I purchased a 40" Sony TV with installation from Tiger Direct. They offered a $250 rebate if I subscribed to Dish Network which I did. I obtained the rebate form from World Wide Rebate Inc. I sent the rebate form along with the Dish Network Bill and the invoice that came with the TV. My claim was denied because they claimed the invoice was packing slip not an invoice. I was told I could resubmit the claim.

I contacted Tiger Direct and received copies of two invoices one for the first TV the send that was defected and a second invoice for the new TV.

I filed them with Worldwide Rebate and after about 25 day they denied the claim again saying the invoice was missing. In the tracking system they provide an Adobe file, which shows all the documents, I submitted and both invoices are there along with the rebate form and the Dish Network bill as required.

This is clearly a scam to make it impossible to collect the rebate, and Tiger Direct and Dish Network are co-conspirators in a scheme to defraud the public.
