Tiger Direct is very misleading about their shipping policy. They bold face lie about when the items will be shipped out. I have been a tiger direct customer for over a year now spending almost $5000.00 in the past 12 months.



I have never received anything on time (not because of the shipping provider, but because it has never left the warehouse within their advertised 24 hour time). Even though it clearly states "Ships within 24 hours" See attached photos. 



I kept coming back to tiger direct over the last 12 months in hopes that my next order will ship out when they advertise it to do so. Sadly once again this is not the case, and I must wait 7 to 10 days just for it to leave the warehouse. By that time the shipment will have missed my daughters birthday.



If you hover your mouse over the "Ships within 24 hours" link you get a pop up about how "items may be Provided by a third party warehouse" (Dropshiped), & "95% of verified and approved credit card orders ship within 24 hours" (See photos) It does not tell you if that item you are looking at is in fact dropshipped. It is extremely vague, and you have no idea when your items will ship until you get your invoice.



In my opinion if, you need it fast buy it somewhere else because tiger direct will make you wait days, and even weeks just to ship the item(s) from the warehouse. This is very aggravating when you need something quickly. Or in time for a holiday or birthday as in my case. I think this is blatant false advertising, or a bait and switch. They promise you quick shipping then make you wait 7 to 10 days. Then claim they have no control over thrid party warehouses.



After reviewing other reports here on ripoff Report about tiger direct (And there are over 780 of them using the advanced search) I am sure I will get some lame rebuttal about how many of their items are dropshipped and they can not control how the dropshipper Handel's the order.



If that is the case then you should NOT advertise that items ship within 24 hours.

I was contacted by Ernesto Escajeda a Tiger Direct customer relations manager by phone on 12-11-2009 concerning the problems with my order. He explained what went wrong. Waiting 7 days just for items to be shipped is extremely frustrating, and he apologized for my inconvenience, assured me that my items had been shipped (they arrived the next day) and that the problem has been dealt with and will not happen again. He even went a step further to make things right by offering me a credit for future purchases.

I tested his claim that the problem was in-fact fixed and used the credit to order another item last night (12-14-2009) the order was indeed shipped out this morning and is already on its way to me (See photo). Although I wish they would have contacted me sooner about the problems I was having. I now understand they needed some time to find out exactly what went wrong. Tiger Direct has gone above and beyond to keep me as a satisfied customer.

All of the 6 items I ordered from Tiger Direct clearly stated "Ships in 24 hours"

6 Days have passed and only one (1) item out of that order has shipped.

What a complete rip off. Why is this company allowed to get away with this.

This is nothing more than a "Bait and Switch" They promise, and advertise something and then you don't get what you expect or what you pay for. BAD Customer Service. Stay away from this company.

No rebuttal from the company either. They must be speechless because they file a rebuttal on (almost) every complaint here within 24 to 48 hours. Guess they don't bother when they know they are completely in the wrong...
