Tim Laudan, Cynergydata, Northern Leasing Scammed by independent sales rep. for Cynergydata and Northern Leasing Ennis Texas
I own a barber shop in Whitney, Tx. On 10-27-06 I was talked into signing a lease agreement with Northern Leasing by Tim Laudan who I thought represented Cynergydata. He made an agreement in writing with me that if I wasn't satisfied with "their service" after 3 mos, he would personally assume the lease on the credit card terminal. He now has the machine and he won't return my phone calls.
Northern Leasing calls me up to 4 times a day for non-payment because I closed my account that Cynergydata and Northern Leasing were taking money out of. I foolishly didn't receive copies of the contract I signed until I requested them last week. I never received any monthly statments.
I have filed complaints with the BBB, Tx Attorney General,and FTC.I haven't heard anything back yet. An attorney told me it would be too costly to file a lawsuit, so this Tim Laudan just gets to keep going on his merry way. He is an independent sales rep., he calls it First Bankcard Systems, and possibly one called Express Debt Solutions, LLC. Cynergydata let me file a complaint with them, but Northern Leasing doesn't care about anything but their money on a machine that would date back to 1995 whenever the power went off.
I realize I signed a contract,but I did it with the understanding that Tim Laudan would take responsibilty for what he promised.

I am familiar with Mr. Laudan. Please do not mistake First Bankcard Systems with First Bankcard Inc., both in Ennis Texas. Very different business ethics although in the same industry. Interesting on how the names are so close and located in the same town. Could be an underling story but not for this time. First Bankcard Inc. does not recommend leasing a credit card terminal. We offer several economical methods to acquire a credit card terminal, none being a lease. Again, please do not confuse First Bankcard Systems with First Bankcard Inc.. Express Debit Solutions is a new one to us so no comment.

Look out, Ed! Tim's gonna file a lawsuit. Tim does not deny that he represents Northern Leasing, perhaps the most parasitic business operation of all times. Ed, you defamed Tim by printing the truth. How can you sleep at night?

I did set up to be able to accept their customers credit cards. Vicki was given every detail of the transaction. She signed a "Non-CANCELLABLE" lease agreement with large red print saying "This lease is "NON-CANCELLABLE". She agreed the terms of the lease by signing the lease, and again by verifying the lease terms independently via telephone with the leasing company on a recorded telephone conversation. She apparently has gone out of business, and is trying to blame others for her failed business. She is a liar! She did ask what happens with the NON-CANCELLABLE lease if she goes out of business. I told her that she can transfer the lease to another merchant. She said she didn't know how to do that. I told her that if she had someone who wanted to assume the lease, I would do the paperwork for free. This web site should verify information, rather than publish negative information about people who aren't present to defend themselves. My name is Tim Laudan.
