to start with i had signed up with time warner 5 years ago and for 5 years the cost for sevice changed sometimes a little sometimes a lot i changed service by phone several times so i could get a set price never missing a payment but as usual there prices went up then they had an offer on tv for services phone ,300 mbps internet and a channel line up with free premium channels for three months if you signed up for this you received a free tablet after 90 days the price for service was almost 300 dollars ,after 3 months i never received the tablet and i went on the internet to check internet speed and it was about 270 mbps slower than it was advertised, i contacted time warmer they told me to wait a little longer so i did 3 months later everything was the same i contacted them again and i was told i never qualified for the tablet because my bill had never been kept current even though i never missed a payment so i disconnected that service and just kept the suppossidly 300mbps internet and basic cable and the recorder boxes . well after about a month i checked my bill online it was 60 dollars more than we agreed upon and remember each time i had agreed upon a price for service it was for 12 months,they told me there was an increase of service charges per month and they would boost the signal to my router for more speed,well this went on for 3 years i never missed a payment, but a new game came out on xbox one ,yes i am a gamer i have been for over 23 years, but anyhow the game just wasnt working right,after contacting the game company and xbox live we found the problem was with the internet, i contacted time warner and told them my internet wasnt working right so they sent out a tech he told me the only way to increase the speed of the internet was to run a wired system to everything ,now i have my laptop 2 different game console a printer a home computer i regular hd tv and i smart big screen tv time warner knew this from the start and also that i needed wireless service,but back to it he wired my xbox one and i ran a test through speedtest.net still my service was just shy of 80 mbps i told him that i have been paying for 300mbps for over three years ,well he informed me that they have only had that speed for 3 months and i wasnt signed up for it so he installed new modem and left. i called time warner and complained and they told me i was mistaken that i was only signed up for 50 mbps internet so i disconected all there services paid my final bill and my wife was supposed to take back all the equipment but she just returned the router but before i could return the boxes i received a call with an offer a basic channel line up withthere new channel for free home phone and 200 mbps internet but whatever i needed that speed on it need to be wired all this for 86.32 per month for 12 months before taxes which brought the monthly to 106.53 a month so i agreed and reconnected service we picked up a router and reconnected everything ourselves to keep them from charging me a service call by now i thought i knew all there tricks,i was wrong again, i checked my bill as usual and it was 387.00 for about 26 days i contacted them had them read back my previous phone call i had them put it all in the records and my charges were 86.32 before taxes and 106 after,i asked why my bill was so much after they read my new agreement they said service was never disconnected when i told them to do it so they waved the extra charges and i paid my bill 2 months later i ckecked my bill and it went up to 140 a month i called in again and i was told there was an increase in service per month and i had to pay rental on the 2 boxes of 25 a month each and he also told me my bill would be more than stated online i told him that there were notes in my account about my previous deal and i would make ny agreed payment without fail each month and i did ,this morning they disconnected all sevices and i had to pay 40 dollars to get them back on and i had an outstanding bill of 287 dollars and change even though i have paid my payment every month since reconnecting service you have to help me how can this company keep getting away with fraud amd price gauging like this i an not the only one i have read your reports

someone please do something ,since this apartment complex changed owners they only let time warner in here so they think they can do pretty much what they want so far i have had to give them my payment plus 80 more dollars for service this month and i have to give them another 150 tommorrow this is ******** its robbery ,fraud and just plain wrong is anybody reading this or is this just a ******** site let me know if i am wasting my time
