Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On March 6, I was contacted by Dewitt Clarke. He was so persuasive and conniving. He preyed on the fact that we really wanted to get rid of our timeshare. He guaranteed he could sell it in 90 days, but had up to 180 days to sell before you were able to receive the $1000 gift certificate.

He told me that people were requesting to purchase a West Gate timeshare from them all the time. And that he had customers lined up to make a purchase. (Liar)

He promised to help us get our money back from another company similar to his company. (Lied)This never happened. He also stated that they were different from other companies because they have a showroom where they present your timeshare. He also stated that they were different from other organization because they make their money by getting people to purchase timeshares through their financing department.

After signing and paying $1184.00 on 03/07/08 we were hopeful. This came quickly to an end. I never heard from Dewitt again. Each time you would call to get an update you will receive and automatic greeting stating due to high call volumes you will receive voice mail and your call will be returned in 1 to 2 days. It wasn't until 09/08 I was told what ext to press if I wanted to speak to customer service.

When they did call back I will always get the same message that they will be presented my timeshare in the next showcase. I was even told by Diane Harrigan (the manager) at a later time to hold off and wait and not to remove my timeshare listing with them until the rich Europeans and the Canadians come to town because the usually are the ones who buy these timeshare.

I left messages and sometimes they were answered and other times they were not. I requested for the price of the timeshare to be reduced and it was not. I then asked for my money back because six month had past and I still had not received my fraudulent $1000 gift certificate. After this phone call they sent the worthless certificate. This certificate contained items that were cheesy and overpriced.

I called and complained about the gift certificate. Instead I was offered a 3day/2 night getaway. I stated to them that this was not a good reimbursement. I asked if you are given me a $1000 certificate why can't you refund me my money. Diane Harrigan the manager told me of course we did not spend $1000 on the certificate because we buy them in bulk. (This is dead wrong)

Before this time I had never spoke to Diane but she was really rude. She began screaming on the phone calling me a child and saying she doesn't know how many times she has to say the same thing to me before I understand. She is truly unstable.

Please people read before you retained any one services especially reselling or renting timeshares agencies because I have been scammed twice.

Since i made my first statement about this company. They are still calling my home asking if we still interested in selling out timeshare. Again and again i give them the same answer. you would think that there would be a notation in my file not to call my phone due to our disagreeable circumstances. I really think this company is unprofessional and lack understanding. Timeshare travels please stop calling my home and refund me my money.

Dewitt Clarke was terminated from our company. Unfortunately the sales people that we have fired for deceptive statements and sales practices are disgruntled. They have gone to work for other companies, which the state attorney has not caught up with yet. They will be dealt with by the authorities because of their fraudulent business practices. We did enter into an agreement with the state attorney because of these very same people. We will not be going anywhere but the others will come and go with their slanderous and defaming statements. We welcome any governing bodies or law enforcement agencies into our facilities, that is more than any other company will say or do. Please we urge whoever views these totally fictitious statements to follow the link below and read some of our testimonials which we guarantee are not made up letters like others provide. http://www.timesharetravels.net/about.html If anyone looking at this would like to speak with the owners of Timeshare Travels Inc, David Cohen or Donald Kaye, we encourage you to contact us at 561-393-5071. IF YOU STAND FOR NOTHING YOU WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING. David Cohen President Timeshare Travels Inc Don Kaye Vice President Timeshare Travels Inc

I am a real person and I do not work for TimeShare Travels. Honestly, I don't know how the President of the company got involved. He called me in response to a letter that I wrote to my sales Representative d**k Kaye. Basically, in my letter, I indicated that if the company did not agree to refund my money (I did receive the refund) that I would go on to this website and agree with comments of others who had been ripped off. As indicated in my previous posting, the representative that took my information when I made the agreement with Time Share Travels told me that if my timeshare did not sell in 12 months, I would get a refund. In my letter, I also requested a review of that taped conversation. It was after I asked the president of the company to review this conversation that he called back and said that I would be getting my money refunded. Perhaps the person who did my agreement messed up and misspoke?

I never said that every one was rude at Timeshare Travel in fact Sabrina was very pleasant and helpful. It is Diane Harrigan who is rude and abnoxious. I will like to know how you were able to speak to the president if you are truly a real person. I have tried to speak to someone over Diane and I was told that i could not, and even if i did speak with them they would not over rule what she had decided. Have you received your refund because you did not state it in your rebuttal. Please share with me how you were able to retain a refund when they are stating there is no refund policy. i have a paper sent by this company staing 100% money back guarantee. i can submit this paper. can you prove that you recieved your money or are you just working for the company. I have reported this company to the BBB and timeshare travel rebuttal under the bbb is that they cannot give me a refund but a coupon or a vacation. i dont want the coupon because i already have one and i cannot take the vaction due to my family situation. So please be kind and share with me how to receive a refund from this company. thanks T'arie

I had a positive experience with Timeshare Travels

While I can appreciate the frustrations shared by this disgruntled consumer, my experience with Timeshare Travels was a positive one. I cannot confirm that my representative guaranteed he could sell my timeshare in 90 days, but I was advised that if they were unable to sell it within 180 days that I would receive a $1000 gift certificate. Timeshare Travels was true to their word and I did receive the gift certificate that was promised. Even if it did contain items that were cheesy and overpriced, as this consumer says (and I concur), the fact is that Timeshare Travels followed through with what they said they would do. I concur with this consumer who wrote that each time you would call to get an update you will receive and automatic greeting stating due to high call volumes you will receive voice mail and your call will be returned in 1 to 2 days and when they did call back I always got the same message that they would be presenting my timeshare in the next showcase. I was likewise told by my representative about the rich Canadians" who come to town because the usually are the ones who buy these timeshare. So far, I agree with much of what was expressed in the posting. I differ, however, in that I never spoke with a rude representative. All the representatives that I spoke with were courteous and professional. I even spoke with the president of the company who ultimately agreed that the company would maintain its end of the bargain (refund my money, since they were unable to secure a buyer for my timeshare after a year). I can't confirm what information is shared with every individual who makes a contract with Timeshare Travels but I can confirm that I was advised (by company recorded phone conversation) that my money would be refunded after a year, if the timeshare did not sell and that this indeed did happen. It is this that causes me to file this rebuttal and to say that Timeshare Travels dealt with me in a reputable manner.
