Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was hired to work for TNT Management out of des monies Iowa for a promotion in safeway for 3 consecutive days. The company had sent me large boxes just a day before the promotion. I opened the boxes the day before when they arrived and noticed that one of them didn't have the location information for the next day. I sent 3 e-mails throughout the course of the day and no one responded. I called all the safeway's in the area I was suppose to work and no one knew of any promotion.

needless to say I wasn't able to do the promotion. They called me the next day to tell me they were charging me a cancelation fee for not working and also that they wanted their materials back at my expense! They then said I HAD to overnight the boxes back or they would call the police and said that I had stole their materials! They even said they were going to sue me and sent an e-mail with the heading THEFT!!

I told them I would be happy to give them their materials with a return address label. They are unwilling to comply and just want to threaten me.

This is the worst promotional modeling experience I've ever had! This company should not be able to push people around and threaten them like this.

Tina Norris writes false reports on her talent/agencies

#2General Comment

Mon, March 15, 2010

Tina Norris of TNT MANAGEMENT currently has a civil harassment and no contact order against her in California. Tina is a very creative writer that is full of lies and likes to write fake reports on those who speak out against her and her scam company!

Tina Norris is linked in with Theresa Catanese, both have created a NEW agency(Integreat Staffing) to con talent/clients on who they really are. They go by the names of Julia Warren, Brittni LeBlanc,Emma Berry, Jade Ratbun, and of course Nina Rotti(Tina Norris names) who like to hide behind as a model writing fake reports on ROR & Complaintsboard out of jealousy. After being exposed they suddenly removed their professional website(full of lies).

THE OTHER FALSE REPORT WRITTEN ABOUT ON IRENA MURPHY AS A HIRED MAKEUP ARTIST ON ROR IS BOGUS.  IT WAS WRITTEN BY TINA NORRIS OUT OF RETALIATION. TINA NORRIS ALSO WROTE THE 2-BOGUS COMPLAINTS ON MOLLIWOOD PRODUCTIONS(WE HAVE PROOF OF THAT,THANKS TO A FORMER EMPLOYEE), BECAUSE MOLLI FUNK HELPED MODELS COLLECT FUNDS FROM BOTH THERESA CATANESE AND TINA NORRIS. TINA HAS CONTINUED TO WRITE FALSE REPORTS AND MISLEAD THE PUBLIC WITH HER POSTINGS. DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS WOMAN AND THERESA CATANESE.

Tina Norris also likes to write fake reports on here/(((Redacted))) about those who know the truth about HER AND THERESA CATANESE!

Tina Norris likes to go to otherforums/sites such as the Seomozand complain about being a victim of the RIPOFFREPORT/(((Redacted))), the very site she abuse/lies on others on and pretends to be a former model, the game is over!

TinaNorrisis trying to form a group to shut these sites down and has written on Seomoz site trying to band together, if they only knew and they soon will. The postings on her and her companies TNT MANAGEMENT and INTERGREAT(SHE GOES BY THE NAME JULIA WARREN TO MISLEAD MODELS/CLIENTS) ARE ALL TRUE PAST/PRESENT!

TINA NORRIS ABUSES THIS SITE AND OTHER SITES WITH FALSE REPORTS IN ORDER TO RUIN OTHERS REPUTATION WHO HAVE SPOKEN OR KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT HER COMPANY TNT MANAGEMENT. WATCH OUT FOR THIS WOMAN, SHE DOES NOT HANDLE HERSELF LIKE A PROFESSIONAL WHEN SHE ENCOUNTERS DISPUTES WITH THOSE WHO HAVE A VALID REASON TO COMPLAIN ABOUT HER AND HER COMPANY!

question Tina Norris, You seem to play upon the Jane Doe case and word it as if you won your case against Jane Doe but you are very vague. Why? Who is Jane Doe? If you won then why are you not posting the case? Why should everyone take your word for it? Why should they call or email you for that information? And why would you want PEOPLE TO EMAIL OR CALL YOU,that if it is public record and if you won who is Jane Doe? I highly doubt you will rebuttal since it only seems you stray from questions or opinions you have nothing to come back on. You also claim to be licensed under the TNT Management name for 15 yrs,and no other name or was that a misprint on your end? Or were you misleading with that information thinking no one would followup with that information give by you? From the other posting which was true you have only been licensed for a year and half with the TNT MANAGEMENT NAME, Active Nov.16 2007 and doing your DBA under Dynamite Demos which was not active until Aug.7,2008. That was verified information from the Secretary of State in Iowa, 515-281-5204; So who is Jane Doe? If it is public record and you won. Then why not post the transcripts of the trial? or the case number. And was your attorney fees, court cost and any other legal fees taken care of by Jane Doe? generally if you win a case you get your fees taken care of as well as damages done. What was the settlement? Was it cash? Again you are very vague but lead people to believe you won. IF SO, POST THE CASE! Nothing can keep you from posting the facts, am I right? You state you got Jane Does identity but you have not said WHO? One has to wonder about what you are writing and if it is true. and when was the trial?

It's true I never worked for this company. I tried to and they did not give me all the location information to complete the promotion. I did not have enough time to read all these complaints back and forth. All I know is this messy and annoying incident happened 7 months ago and I let it go then. I had someone contact me and was kind enough to let me know that tnt management and tina norris were writing slanderous and false rip off reports about me online. I had no idea they were writing about me. I do not know these people. I haven't had contact with them in 7 months! But they continue to try and defile my name with no basis for the attack. They have written slanderous reports about me as a makeup artist a hairstylist and a model and have even written vulgar sexual comments about me personally. How would they know anything about me? I talked to them a couple of times when I had tried to work for them and not for 7 months since then. I do not live in the same state and I have never done makeup, hair or any type of modeling or promotions through them. TNT and tina norris knows nothing about me and has no right to be writing anything about me personally or professionally.

I have many emails from more than ONE peron stating they were not paid and that "Tina Norris" would not return emails or phone calls just as she did to me, to this day, after two years, I have yet to receive payment for the jobs I did for her scam "agency", and I have it on good authority that she does work under different names, I even have emails from her workers stating those names, This lady and her so called company are scam artists, liars, crooks, and just down right no good, they must be stopped and they must be put out of business. If anyone even dares to stand up for themselves and claim what is theirs, she only threatens them and tries to intimidate people, you don't scare me lady. Good always conquers Evil! Tina/TNT MGMT-its how you handle the complaint!

#11Consumer Comment

Sat, February 07, 2009

If you find that a complaint has been filed against you, the best thing you can do is to post a rebuttal. Don't get mad, and don't make threats. Get creative. Explain your side of the story. Explain what your company has done (or is willing to do) to make things right. If the customer is simply wrong, say so! If you think a report is phony, demand that the customer provide proof that they actually did business with you (by posting a copy of a receipt, etc.) Ultimately, there are countless ways you can take a negative complaint and turn it around into a positive advertisement for your company. As we ALWAYS say: every company, good or bad, will receive complaints. The fact that you have received a complaint is NOT what consumers care about -- it's how you handle the complaint that matters. You Tina Norris/TNT is what the first amendment rights protect us against, companies like you. On several of your rebuttals you throw threats of suing someone for various opinions & their experience with you and your company. Even those who had consumer complaints/opinions based off the post. Right or wrong--You have handled yourself very unprofessional and you stray from alot of the complaints. How is it harrassing when people are responding and giving their opion or thoughts? How have you been libeled? What is false about any of the reports on your business? The only harrassing I see is someone trying to silence-bully those for speaking out. I dont believe alot of what you posted earlier in regards to the Jane Doe case. Why not post the court case if it went to your favor, it clearly said you were suing in the Des Moines Register according to your attorney. Did you win your case, or has there been a trial? You clearly use your attorney/and the Jane Doe case to try to intimidate, and silence everyone. The only bully, harrassing, libeling I see is YOU with your former staff the spoke out against you! I HOPE JANE DOE COUNTERCLAIMS!!!

Jane Doe warns others on Craigslits about Tina Norris TNT MGMT Mystery online attacker bedevils Des Moines company Source: DesMoinesRegister Date: 08/11/08 By: Jeff Eckhoff Link: http://www.desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080... Officials of a Des Moines company that supplies models and product demonstrators for nationwide promotional events claim that a mysterious Internet poster has cost them $500,000 in business with negative comments and allegations over the past two years. But they aren't sure whom to sue. 'We don't know her name, and we don't know her physical address,' said Robert Holliday, an attorney for TNT Management. 'I've been a lawyer for a long time. This is the weirdest thing I've ever seen.' An expert says such situations have exploded over the past decade as Internet traffic migrated from large, content-policing Internet portals such as CompuServe and America Online to a slew of smaller providers. 'It's always been possible to sue someone who is slamming you, but what you have is a right without a remedy,' said Michael Fertik, a Harvard University law graduate who founded ReputationDefender.com to help victims of cyber-libel fight back. 'You've got a right to information that the Web site is not obligated to keep,' he said. 'And it may take you two years of legal proceedings to get this information. By then, your company's out of business.' TNT officials say they have been plagued by anonymous comments from 'John Doe and/or Jane Doe' on Craigslist and other Web sites that allege the models it hired routinely have problems getting paid. Court papers say the online attacks have been perpetrated by someone in Minnesota with the e-mail address [email protected]. Court battles in four states over efforts to unlock the poster's identity culminated last month at a hearing in which the unnamed woman was questioned by telephone. The 21-year-old college student, when contacted by e-mail by The Des Moines Register, said she was a former model whose online criticisms of TNT were accurate and defensible. She did not confirm her real name. 'I don't think they're actually going to sue me for anything,' she said. 'They're just mad at me for trying to get my money. ... It's just more of their bullying.' Holliday denied the alleged nonpayment. 'We will find this person, and we will give her an opportunity in a court of law to prove that,' he said. Court papers say the anonymous comments posted on TNT help-wanted ads and industry bulletin boards have made it difficult for the company to do business. TNT also blames the woman for repeatedly 'flagging' its Craigslist ads under a process that automatically leads to their removal after a certain number of complaints. Documents say that TNT was forced to advertise jobs without using the company name, and that would-be business partners backed out when they learned of previous criticism. In another prominent Internet case, a federal judge in Connecticut recently rejected pleas by 'John Doe 21' that he be allowed to remain anonymous in a lawsuit filed by two female Yale University students. The women alleged that they were harassed over a two years by postings on AutoAdmit.com that purported to describe their sexual history and encouraged posters to stalk one of the women with a cell phone camera. The woman connected to Stephybaby1985@yahoo .com, who said she is a Marine officer candidate, said her postings about TNT Management were intended to warn the public about unsavory business practices. 'Other promo models need to know that this company is doing this, and they need to protect themselves,' she said. 'Independent contractors aren't protected by labor laws in the United States. The only way to protect yourself from companies like this is just to not work for them.' The woman lost a bid to keep her identity secret. Iowa District Judge Eliza Ovrom recently ordered two Internet companies and the U.S. Postal Service to turn over information that should identify her. Privacy concerns 'cannot shield a person from the consequences of allegedly tortious conduct,' Ovrom wrote. 'A person allegedly making false comments such as those involved here cannot expect to remain anonymous indefinitely.' Holliday, TNT's attorney, hopes it's the first step to erase the damage, or at least stop its spread. 'The Internet is a wonderful thing if it's used properly,' he said. 'But if you want to cause somebody some problems and hide, that's the way to do it. That's really not what it was intended to do.' Here is a brief guide to libel and slander as I've come to understand them through cases I've been involved with (none of which we ever lost): Libel, Slander and Defamation Libel can be personal libel or trade libel, which is also known as "product disparagement." Product disparagement can include a product, service or entire company. Libelous statements, whether against persons or products, are published statements that are false and damaging. Slander is the same as libel in most states, but in spoken rather than written form. The terms "libel" and "slander" are often subsumed under the broader term "defamation." It is a tort (a wrongful act) to harm another's reputation by defaming them. How do you know if you might defame someone or something in what you are about to publish? There are three tests which the defamatory statement must meet in order for a plaintiff to prevail in a suit against you and your publisher: Untrue. In order to be defamatory, the statement must be untrue. If the statement is true or substantially true, then it is not defamatory, and the case is over. Damaging. In order for the plaintiff to prevail, the statement must have caused real and substantial harm to the person or business. The plaintiff must present evidence of the substantial harm done. Knowingly false. The plaintiff must also show that the defendant knew the statement was untrue, but published or broadcast the statement despite that knowledge. From this brief explanation, you can deduce that the best way to avoid a libel charge, or to defeat it, is to: Write only that which is true and can be shown to be true through your meticulous research and note taking. Keep all research for a period of years, depending on the statute of limitations that applies where you are. In sum, you can say or publish just about whatever you wish in our open society--so long as it is true. Public Official vs Public Figure The same liberal rule applies to both categories: To prevail in a libel case against you, in addition to showing that your statement is untrue and caused significant harm, a public official or a public figure must also prove "malice" -- that you acted in reckless disregard to the facts known to you and with intent to harm. Obviously, because of this stipulation, you enjoy considerable protection when it comes to public personages, since proving malice (intent to harm) places a heavy burden on the prosecution. Who are these public people? The status of "public official" is relatively easy to determine from public records. The trick comes in determining who falls into the category of "public figure." The courts have determined that there are two types of public figures: A "general purpose public figure" is someone who enjoys social prominence. Entertainers are in this category. A "limited purpose public figure" -- someone who has intentionally placed themselves into prominence, such as a vocal activist on a given issue. The reasoning is that the press has a First Amendment duty to report on such newsworthy people, and therefore published statements warrant such protection. Who is a private person? None of the above. Now you see why lawyers get the big bucks. [NOTE: This article should not be considered a legal advice. If you have a concern about whether something in your writing is libelous, please consult a lawyer before publication.] Contact your state Attorney General if a business is not operating with a business license in California.

#14REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, February 02, 2009

Go to the Polk County Records in Iowa to review the case file. If you can not find it, call me: Tina Norris - 515-745-8351. If you would like a copy of the DM Register article, I will be happy to e-mail it to you. You do still have my e-mail correct? On July 23rd, Polk County Iowa Court ordered "Jane Doe" out of Farmington Minnesota to provide her identity. After months of harrassment (much the same as Jane Doe So Cal or shocked in DM), and writing libelous comments equating in hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost business to TNT MGMT, Jane Doe/Farmington MN has been served with a permanent restraining order. She has not written one word since. What you are doing, Harrassing, libeling, defaming and conducting a pre-meditated act, much like planning a murder, with the intent to harm myself and put TNT MGMT out of business is illegal. It's the same as Internet bullying or stalking. Think about it - all of your complaints are over trivial issues. You have a screw loose or enjoy the excitement in writing about me without me suspecting who you are... I'm flattered, and to think that I'm hated this much by you for sending a box and offering you a job....amazing. There's truth to the saying that good business comes out of negative publicity - so thank you for bringing me into the national headlines every month. Go to the Court Documents in Farmington Minnesota to review the outcome of Jane Doe in Farmington MN. November of 2008. I offer my number to you again to call and I will provide you with the case file information. Better yet, I'll post it here on Rip Off for you to review, since you like to "hide in the shadows." I'm not "sue happy," it's right verses wrong. After months of you, Irena Murphy AKA: Jane Doe So Cal, writing harrassing comments and playing the stalking game, it's time to stop. If you can not stop yourself from harrassing or writing untruths about TNT MGMT through professional outreaches, then the next logical, professional business step for me to take is legal. If you had someone stalking you, writing and commenting on everyday movement for MONTHS you would legally stop the predator. It's annoying, unnecessary and childish, definitely an all time low in professional conduct. In July of 2007 NYC case files another female internet stalker which again went to court and the identity of the harrasser was ordered to be named. A money judgement was awarded to the victims who were stalked by her. I know you have no money. You do this for kicks or like Jane Doe in Farmington stated she enjoyed creating Anger and being a protaganist. Let this be known: I will stop you from interfering with my daily business. I have experience in court with Jane Doe from Farmington MN. I have laws on my side to protect my rights. I have supporters who will testify in the hundreds on behalf of TNT MGMT. I have press to publicise your errors. And I have unlimited resources. My suggestion is to stop writing about TNT MGMT on forums and interfering, harrassing or libeling TNT MGMT any further. You have 1 small voice, and your attempt to find hundreds of disgruntled angry individuals such as yourself has failed.

In the preceding post and rebuttals you clearly revealed you have booked talent in California,New York, Texas,Florida. Do you have a talent agency license as required by California state law to book talent such as Irene? If not, why not? If so, what is your license & bonded number for the 4 states you must be licensed & bonded with in order to represent or book? It is obvious you gave out Jane Does real identity to other talent within your company for them to call her Irene Murphy. Very Professional. That speaks volumes for your company.

#18REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sun, November 02, 2008

Dear Southern California, Jane Doe After numerous attempts to retrieve the items from you, not one attempt was made by you to return calls. TNT Management Agency, staff, and field manager's on this assignment reached out numerous times to help resolve this issue. One field manager lived less than 5 minutes from your home, and left several messages for you to simply leave the merchandise on your front step, so it could be picked up, and utilized by replacement BA's. Not one call, or any effort to return the merchandise was made by you. Any good individual would place them out front and this whole mess would be over. First and foremost: The validity of this complaint is false. TNT Management, L.L.C. is incorporated in the state of Iowa. 490DLC-000354444 TNT Management is owned and operated by Tina Norris. No other company name, business or individual has the rights to claim ownership or use this company business name in any form of advertising, promotional or written format without my consent. The name and owner (myself) have been in business 15 years with an impeccable reputation. To be in business, especially in this volatile industry, 15 years, speaks volumes. Second: By law, a valid, legal complaint should be filed against a company, not an employee or individual. You have filed a complaint against individuals, specifically a p/t staff employee that is a MINOR. There are laws for all businesses in the United States and world including the privacy of individuals that protect employees of companies from being liable for individual complaints such as yours. In addition, to exploit a minor in this manner and name this individual in your complaint has violated HER civil rights. She is in High School! Your complaint should be dealt with through the owner (myself) and the corporation of TNT Management L.L.C. Involvement of TNT Management staff names and identities for you to exploit for personal satisfaction or vindictive measures is strictly prohibited. You wrote: "Emma "M" Berry Emma "M" Berry from TNT Management threatened to sue me and to call the police, and also demanded cancelation fees" She NEVER spoke to you, the only conversations regarding cancellation fees were between myself and you via e-mail and phone. Get your facts straight before you file! You wrote: "The company had sent me large boxes just a day before the promotion. I opened the boxes the day before when they arrived and noticed that one of them didn't have the location information for the next day. I sent 3 e-mails throughout the course of the day and no one responded. I called all the Safeway's in the area I was suppose to work and no one knew of any promotion." NOT TRUE AND OUTRAGEOUS!! THE FACT IS YOU RECEIVED THIS NOTICE VIA E-MAIL: A carrier shipping label has been generated for the shipment to IRENA MURPHY and is at UPS awaiting carrier pickup. It will be picked up from THE UPS STORE #2597 by UPS on Monday, August 4, 2008. SENDER TNT MGMT TINA NORRIS (Sender's street address omitted intentionally from this email) US, IA 50311-2434 RECIPIENT IRENA MURPHY #1742 (Recipient's street address omitted intentionally from this email) CA 92883-3115 US, CARRIER & SERVICE UPS Ground TRACKING & REFERENCE Carrier Trk: 1Z674E970325600829 Shipment ID: MMPFQ82EY5QJC SHIP DATE Monday, August 4, 2008 EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE Friday, August 8, 2008 End of Day The materials were delivered to your address 8 days before your first scheduled event date! You had plenty of time to contact the agency and correct the absent paperwork. To contact the store to ask about the event shows that you are not experienced in the field of promotional talent work. You were hired through TNT Management. The first call should have been made to the agency when you realized you were missing information. Our staff answers the phone 24/7 for booking emergencies. You were instructed to contact the store to check product stock, order additional stock plus introduce your-self and inform the management team of your promotional work date and request that they order the stock outlined in your training manual. This is a required step and standard operating procedures protocol for all BA's to know and follow to the letter in this industry. The store, is not our client nor is responsible for payment to TNT Management or to you. You were hired as an independent contractor to work as a brand ambassador inside a grocery store that sells this client's product. To not know this proves that you didn't even know who you were working for, nor did you have any intentions of servicing the client (NOT THE AGENCY) professionally. YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS OR NOT SIGN UP FOR WORK AS AN EXPERIENCED BA. If the agency is completing "on the job" training to you, then you are clearly not experienced. Lastly, this entire report is a lie. Irena, you stated to me and to the TNT Field Manager via phone that you had no intentions of full filling these work dates. We both can confirm this to be true in court, and you know this. You made this whole paperwork issue, missing store information up to get out of cancellation fees and having to work this event. Despite every attempt TNT Management made to resolve this with you, and to walk away with a positive resolve, your lack of professionalism and ethics rings loud in this complaint. As an owner, I have no issues if a complaint is filed by an individual against my company with valid, legitimate, and honest reasons. And if we as a team do not attempt to resolve it, then it should be written. This is unfair to my company, undeserved to my staff and wrong on so many levels. It is fabricated from the beginning. This complaint is dishonest and written solely for the intent of libeling our business and defaming the company name and the individuals employed. The Internet and this site can be a positive tool if used correctly... however, it can also be a very expensive lesson if used maliciously for the sole intent of libeling or defaming a business.

Interesting news article about how far this company goes to cover up what they really do.

I worked this event in LA for TNT MGMT and have already been paid. Jane Doe can keep writing all she wants, I'll be more than happy to work with TNT Management and take Jane's jobs, laughing all the way to the bank.

You've got to be kidding me, are you serious? GET A LIFE! Are you seriously that brand new at this? You signed up for a promotional event and received the wrong location, and instead of being a professional model and returning calls or working it out for a mutual resolve, you write a report on rip off report? Let this be a lesson to all clients who intend on hiring you as a stylist, or model - don't piss off Vanessa AKA: Irena Murphy, she'll blast your business name all over the internet! God forbid a shoot location changes on the same day your asigned, we all better run for cover! Promotional modeling is not rocket science, you get your box, you work your job, turn in your paperwork and get paid. Jeez, you'd think based on this report that the company really did something bad. Perhaps a good anger management therapist would be helpful, I'm sure you can find one in Colorado or California.
