This smear campaign against Gena is completely distasteful and incredibly cowardly. Gena was my trainer for over 4 years and still would be if I hadn't moved out of state. She is the kindest, most patient trainer you will ever come across. Her humility is astounding and she has an unbelievable gift in connecting with horses that everyone has given up on.
She worked with my horses, a paint mare that was a hellion on wheels, and a mustang straight out of BLM. Both horses are better animals because they had Gena as a trainer and mentor. She is a strong advocate against abusing animals and will defend animals against anyone. She protects and nurtures horses, unlike whoever is trying to annonymously trash her hard-earned reputation.

I am outraged by these reports. I hired Gena Wasley, Together Training, to help us with a new mare, who happened to be 5 years old and completely green. I had hired two other trainers before Gena and neither of them had success with her.
My mare, a 5 year old purebred Arabian, instantly took to Gena. Gena worked with the mare for one year and my husband and I were always present for most of the training sessions. Gena has nothing to hide, she is a honest horsewoman. She does not use any type of cruelty in her training sessions. Gena has an intense love for horses, you can see it in her at all times. We spent several thousand dollars on our training with Gena and would trust her all over again if we needed her for future training.
These reports are outright lies, slanderous and horrific. Gena does not beat horses.

This report is utterly ridiculous and untrue! Gena would never hit a horse...ever! Gena has worked with one of my very spooky horses and she was kind and patient with my mare as we were trying to load her in a trailer. Gena is a very kind and patient horse trainer! Anyone would be lucky to have her spend time with their horses!

It is important to understand the difference between opinion, slander and liable.
On December 26, a fake Facebook account was created by someone attempting to gain access to my Facebook page. I saved all communication with the individual (including a copy of the fake profile picture) to my computer and forwarded the information to a business associate. I then reported the fake account to Facebook. This happens to coincide with the liable post on ripoffreport.com.
The address the individual gave as my address was obviously pulled from the internet, it is not my place of residence nor is it my work location, as I do everything I can to protect my privacy on the internet.
It is very easy to prove that the picture posted on February 6th of the horse with the bloody mouth is again, a picture pulled from the internet. The training approach I use is what makes my training method unique from most as I use a bit-less approach.
I am selective about my training locations and work in very public facilities, this not only helps promote my business but helps protect me from liability issues and false claims such as this.
Anyone who has any questions regarding my training methods or reputation should do so with someone who is not hiding behind a veil of anonymity. When I work with a horse, I follow up with a written evaluation using my official letterhead.
In regards to money owed, I am notorious for giving away my time for free and donating my skills to help programs such as Bureau of Land Management, rescue programs and therapeutic riding programs. This information can be found easily in numerous newspaper articles about me written in the Sacramento Bee in 2008 (which also included a video) and again in 2012, as well as on BLM sites.
