I can assure you that this company did not request to be removed because they were just getting more business then they could handle from Angie's List.
H A P P Y A N N I V E R S A R Y TO ME.....TONY and Tony's Concrete Service, LLC STARTED MY JOB IN AUGUST OF 2012 AND IT HAS NEVER BEEN FINISHED as of today, two years later.
Most recently, I received an email from Tony on June 11, 2014 that said he would be at my home to " REPAIR THE CRACK BY THE DOWNSPOUT, THE CRACK IN THE GARAGE, AND SEAL THE SIDEWALK AND DRIVE " He said in the email " DAY SET FOR JULY 16TH ON MY CALENDAR ". " YOU WILL SIGN A RELEASE I WILL PROVIDE YOU " Needless to say once again Tony and his crew never showed up. He claims he has given me dozen of dates in 2013 that he would be at my home when in reality I told hime the work had to be done by September 1, 2013 and the first week of September he said I needed to give him a two week period of time for hime to come and do the work. My son was moving into my home and I was leaving the state at that time. I reminded him in May, June, July, and August of the September 1, date. His responce was " I guess I forgot to put it on my calendar " Not that it would have made a difference because when he emails to say you are on my calendar and gives you a date, he never shows up anyway.
Should be noted that out of all the problems and unfinished work those were the things he decided he wanted to take care of and then expected me to sign a release as he didnt want to get sued again. Come on Tony, why would I sue you just to go to the end of the long line of all the cases you have lost and never paid out a dime on. You are uncollectable in a lawsuite. I'd be at the end of the lein line at best and there are to many people in the line already. Once again, use the Freedom Of Information Act, Look at the Facts! Dont' be fooled by this guy and his wife.
After all the problems that I have experienced with Tony and his company, I told him I would not allow him to do work unless I was there. He knew that for the entire year of 2013. Just had no intention of finishing or doing repairs.
Some Problems with his work or lack of work........
# 1 .....It is unfinished !!
His supplier told him if he would have sealed it we would not have all the problems.
Attached garage floor is pitched to the inside causing water to run into the house causing water damage to the home.
The threshold to the side garage door is only supported by four shims, two on each side of the threshold leaving an open entry for anything that wants to come into the garage, snow, water, mice, bugs, etc..
The saw line at the down spout was done poorly and the concrete was cracking and chipping the day it was done.
The approach to the drive has well over 200 pops and cracks.
Have standing water on the Patio Stamped Concrete as it is not pitched correctly.
Work not done to code.
Pulled one of three permits needed.
Some of his reasons he was a no show........
We were at a wedding
We were out of town
Somebody was suppose to answer the phone and take messages. ( no one ever answers, just the machine )
We never heard from you. ( I have dozen of emails that I sent )
MY FAVORITE....We can't pull the crew off a job to work on your job.
I did file a report with the BBB of Milwaukee and he never responded to the BBB untill in the last 30 days more then 35 people have gone to the BBB web site and read the report. I am sure after reading it that there was a lack of signed contracts. Now that it is having an effect on his business, months after the report was filed he has contacted the BBB saying that he wants to reopen the complaint. He does not intend to finish or repair anything, he just wants to give the illusion that he has or is trying to do his best to finish and repair this job and I will not allow him to finish and repair the work. How crazy is that, seriously, I paid for the work that he did poorly and left undone and now I dont want him to repair or finish. This is his attempt to get the report removed from the BBB site.
Recently I discovered reviews written by his wife on some of the on line sites saying what a great company this is to work with. What great work they did. What great ideas they have. She wants to hire them for more work. Even said she could not understand how anyone could have a problem with this company or Tony as they are so great to work with. How do I know his wife is writing the reviews? She signs her real name Mary Beth and posts a photo of herself. Learned a lesson and using pen names to write those reviews now and no photos.
If you would like to see the poor work done, the water damage, and the unfinished work done at my home, feel free to contact me thru this site and I will make an appointment with you to see the lack of work and poor quality work in person.
It was not hard for me to find someone else with problems caused by Tony and his company. My problems pail compaired to others. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere as there is nothing but trouble and problems here for you. BUYER BE WARE !!!
