Top Priority Moving and Storage Didn't show up. Stole Money. Were rude. Misrepresented services available. Brooklyn New York
To make a long story short it's a SCAM. This is not a real company.
In my case they didn't show up at all, and then the next day told me they wouldn't refund my deposit. The woman on the phone didn't have a logical explanation, or an apology, she just said "deposits are non-refundable." I was left waiting to move a pretty small amount of stuff, and did it myself the following day with a rented truck.
I had to get my bank involved, and I'm still waiting to see if they (Top Priority) refund me my $100. In the meantime I opened an investigation with my bank as well as started a little investigation and "light shedding" of my own.
All in all, to be honest, I blame myself for not reading reviews earlier. But that doesn't mean they should get away with blatant theft. Yeah, it was a hundred dollars, big deal. I'll get it back, either soon from them or in 90 days from the bank. BUT it's also my time and the principle.
I absolutely HATE getting ripped off. So I'm taking it upon myself to warn other people if I can, and, like I said, look into this situation through other means and connections. I really wonder how "Tammy" and the other people who handle the phones for this grift operation sleep at night.
Don't use them though, moral of the story. They take deposits and run, and if they do come, which it appears in some cases they do (just from reading other reviews) it's a problem. As in a YOU MIGHT NEVER SEE YOUR POSSESSIONS AGAIN PROBLEM.
