My "new" TOSHIBA laptop hard drive died on me after 2 months of the initial purchase. I called Toshiba, after numerous attempts they finally sent me the packaging to send to their repair depot. The laptop was supposedly damaged when it got to the depot- however, I took pictures to prove it was fine the same day I sent it back to them. I sent them the pictures and they ignored my emails, phone calls, etc....

They made me file a claim against the overnight carrier because the package was supposedly damaged, even though Toshiba's depot couldn't provide me any pictures of the damaged packaging. I waited 2.5 months for this to get resolved, after numerous (probably 20) calls to their customer service dept - speaking to their so called "managers" who all said they would get right on it. Time just kept ticking away and away, etc....

Then I call the overnight carrier and find out that Toshiba was paid on MY claim 3 weeks ago, prior to my call! TOSHIBA KEPT MY MONEY!! Toshiba never called me and it's like torture to get anything out of them about the incident. I am so disgusted with Toshiba that I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever buy another piece of sh*t product from Toshiba again!

BE WARNED- TOSHIBA RIPS OFF CUSTOMERS AND THEIR PRODUCTS ARE INFERIOR!!!
