TOYOTA MOTOR CREDIT CORPORATION, UNILATERAL LEASE AGREEMENT MODIFICATION BY TOYOTA AFTER THREE MONTHS CAROL STREAM, Illinois
Three months after returning our Camry to a Michigan Toyota dealer, in excellent condition following a five year lease, negotiating and completing a renewal lease agreement documenting the absence of "other charges"or any "outstanding prior credit or lease balances" we received a mailed statement from Toyota Financial Services (TFS) requesting an additional $628.05 for "excessive wear and use". The request was accompanied by a vehicle condition report conducted in Manaheim, Milwaukee
Despite the fact that the items listed: (dents, light scrapes and a worn rear tire) had to have occurred in the three month interim between the vehicle's return, dealer's inspectionand the Milwaukee vehicle condition report three months later, TFS continues to ignore written disputation and is extorting us by threatening to ruin our status with national credit rating agencies.

The excess wear and tear CONGAME is one of the reasons you should never, ever get into a CAR FLEASE. No matter however "smart" the salesman says you are for getting into such a deal, the fact is he gets a bigger commission because you gave the dealer much more profit by getting into a FLEASE.
Your point that you gave up the car three months ago is valid. You did not have the car, you did not drive the car and you didn't even see the car. Take them to small claims court. They are trying to SCAM you.

are able to read the fax that was successfully sent to Toyota's Corporate headquarters in Torrance, California on April 20th, 2005.
Some of the same information that was contained in that fax is available right here at this site. Just type in 269041 and the information appears in 'Consumer Comment #3', entitled- "Blame it on a Lawyer" at Ripoff Report #269041.
The fax was addressed to Toyota's CEO, Mr. Funo, and to Toyota Corporate on that date.
Toyota is a corporation whose foundation is solidly built on lies, deception, greed, manipulation, trickery, and the constant pursuit to financially injure the innocent people living in the USA, in my opinion.
