Toywiz.com ripoff! They overcharged for LiveSTRONG Lance Armstrong Rubber Braclets! Internet
Purchased a Lance Armstrong Braclet for $4.99, when I received it the price was preprinted $1.00. Contacted them to see if the remainder was being donated to the LAF foundation or if I had been overcharged. Their response was that they had to buy from the open market and that others were charging more and that the LAF is aware of this.
Contacted the LAF foundation and was told there are only a few authorized sellers of which Toywiz Is Not One. They said they should not be sold for more than $1.00 and that they more than likely will never see any money from this sale but also stated that this type of business practice is not illegal.
Toywiz should not be ripping off their customers let alone a very important foundation. I checked their site today and now the braclets are only $2.99. Boy did I get taken by them as well as the LAF foundation. I guess I should have done my homework first, but having very little computer knowledge and having a son who wanted this braclet and visits Toywiz daily I thought I was doing the right thing. This will definately be the last visit to their site.
