I received a call from a lady named Amy Lane. She stated that she is a mutual acquaintance of my companies CFO. She gave his name and stated that he wanted me to look into the savings that she had to give.

Her spill started out by telling me that her and her husband were moving from CA to AZ and that she needed to sell off some of the office supplies that they were not able to move. She explained that a gross is 1 box of 12, not 12 boxes of 12 I recently found out.

The sales pitch sounds really great until you receive your order of office supplies. I couldn't believe my eyes. We had stickie notes coming out of our ears! Not only did I order a ton of stickies, I also ordered 3 different kinds of pens. Every color of highlighters that they had. Yikes!!

I called the number on the packing slip (in which has no prices) and left a message. I did not receive a call back. I continued to search see if there were others like me, and found what they had done.

So reading on this website diffently helped. Two different entries stated that if you call the number that is on the packing slip and state that you are not happy with your order and

if you don't receive a call back the order will be considered a gift.

I tried this and stated what time zone I was in and that I needed a call back by 5:00 p.m. my time. In less than an hour Patricia Nelson called me back and stated that she will send out RMA's to pick up the orders at no charge.

If you call and don't get a message please try this option. It worked for me!

Sending Supplies back a last!

#2Author of original report

Wed, June 01, 2005

After receiving a call from Patricia Nelson and letting her know that the BBB has really bad comments about her company, she agreed to send me tags for ground service to pick up the boxes. That was about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks ago. I finally received the tags yesterday. I had to call and tell TP Supply that I was sending them back COD if I didn't hear from them by 5:00 p.m. central time. Arron Hindler called back and stated that they were sent out on 5/20/2005 from AZ. When I received them yesterday the postmark said they were sent out on 05/26/2005 from Las Vegas NV. When calling just tell them that you will send the supplies back COD and you will receive a call within the hour. Now when I tried to call and schedule a pick up with the ground service they use, TP will only pay for ground service not pick ups. So beware you will either have to wait until you see a UPS guy to give to him or take the packages to the UPS location. I have learned my lesson!!! I will be the butt of our office jokes for years to come :)
