We bought a 27 ft Sun Tracker Pontoon Boat I.O.  in 2001.  First the upholstery changed colors and deteriorated in the first 3 months.  We reported it to the company, sent pictures and our dealership tried to get them to send us new upholstery.  We contacted the company ourself and they never responded.  3 years the engine pod has leaked,  we finally found the leak  after several trips to the boat dealer for repairs, they could not find it.  We looked everywher and finally discoverd the company used silver tape to seal the engine pod, and the silver tape finally gave out and peeled off.   Brilliant!



The pontoons leak at every weld.  We tried to get the company to fix them also, and were never contacted. We had to pay someone to fix them.



The dealership lost control of Tracker right after we bought the boat and Tracker wouldn't even talk to us.  We still have all the communications sent to them to no avail. 
This was a very bad experience,  we have never had such poor response for spending so much time and money trying to resolve an issue. 



There isn't enough silver tape in the world to fix all the leaks in this boat! 



Please, if you are considering buying a pontoon boat,  look elsewhere.  The only response you will get from Tracker Marine is Tracks....when the ignore you.  If I lived closer to the factory in Missouri  I would pay them a personal visit with this boat.  They are very lucky I don't live there.
