Tracphone is a time-wasting quicksand pit of deceptive services, practices and performance. Nearly all stated expectations on their actual phones, re-fill cards and those made by so-called customer service reps are contradicted by what actually happens with their poorly made, lamely operating, and fraudulently serviced cellphone products and services. The phones can mysteriously just stop working without any identifiable reasons beyond very cheap parts combined with some sort of planned obsolescence. Worse yet are the despicably untrained, poorly educated, robotic , uncouth, uncooperative, lying Fxxxxxxx misfits they employ to pay you lip service about what they will do to assist you, when in fact they are simply regurgitating scripted policy designed to tell you in shady ways to go to hell with your problems and make you feel accomodated on the way to it.
They send replacement Sim cards that do not work, give you other Sim card numbers over the phone that do not work, shuffle you from one bogus department to another bogus department to create some illusion they are helping you, when actually they are simply trying to confuse you, tire you out, make you lose interest after squandering hours of your life. They promise to ship you replacement phones that never come, then send you mailing materials for you to send your broken phone back, even though you were never told about needing to do so in the first place. Lies piled upon lies, compounded by intentional hangups by supervisors frustrated by your audacity to be persistent.
Tracphone is a disgracefully lame, shoddy operation designed to take your money and run, be accountable to no one and the FCC, consumer advocacy lawyers and savvy consumers need to pull out all stops to put a stop to their fraudulence, thievery, and whole cloth exploitation of a segment of society which turns innocently to their low-end products because of credit-worthiness issues or their misleading claims about freeing you in other ways from the usual large providers. The truth is, any association with Tracphone will ensnare your money, your time and your consumer outrage in more toxic and taxing ways than any other phone service currently in existence. Avoid them in every way, shape and form--they are a cancer on the public, as well as the communications industry.
