Trans Union is completely worthless, and is breaking the law! Chester Pennsylvania
After going through loops and barrels and everything else imaginable to try to get my credit report properly reported, it took filing a complaint with the BBB, the State AG, and the FTC before Transunion would apply with the law.
I originally began the lengthy process of credit disputing in February this year to try to get some accounts cleaned and cleared up. I sent numerous letters to this company, only to get form letters, and burning materials, of the exact same report that I originally pulled in February. They refused to investigate my claims, and even went so far as to tell me that they were corrected, only to send me the same d**n report!
The last straw was at the end of April.I sent ANOTHER dispute letter (all certified mind you) and got a form letter on May 15th. The date on the credit report pulled was April 17th!!!! The date on the package that the credit report was mailed was May 13th! I had had enough.
I am putting complaints on my person website through GR Credit Help, and I am filing complaints with every consumer review website that I can find against these theives and criminals.
If you have to, BE PERSISTENT. Don't let them continually break the law.
Some other complaints? No one on their stupid phone line can speak a word of understandable English. Not only that, but they know NOTHING of credit repair or of the laws. They still have a freeze on my account so that I can't pull my credit report, even though I have requested that it be removed numerous times. They are still breaking the law is my biggest complaint of all!
