Transport Relief TRANSPORT RELIEF - BATE SWITCH - LIE OUTRIGHT ON THE PHONE TO GET YOU TO SIGN YOUR CONTRACT! FORGE Tennessee
TRANSPORT RELIEF ARE CROOKS. THEY TELL YOU ONE THING ON THE PHONE AND THEN SEND YOU A CONTRACT BUT TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO SIGN THEIR CONTRACT IMMEDIATELY TO SECURE THE RATE THEY OFFER - THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD SHIP MY CAR FOR $1200 TO AND FROM CALIFORNIA - ROUNDTRIP.
THEY GAVE ME A TIME AND THEN TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD COME AND GET THE CAR. THEY DID NOT. I WAITED ALL DAY. WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY HADN'T HAD MY CAR ON 'THE BOARD' - OBVIOUSLY I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THIS WAS. THEY ENDED UP TELLING ME THAT THEY WERE ACTUALLY A BROKER - THIS WAS THE FIRST I KNEW OF THIS. THEIR CONTRACT IS WORDED IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE SMALL PRINT TELLS YOU THAT THEY WONT TAKE REPSONSIBLIITY IF THE WEATHER CHANGES - ETC ETC.
I received the below email after I cancelled service with the company.
I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW HOW TO FIGHT THIS AND/OR FOR PEOPLE TO HELP ME STOP THIS KIND OF SCAM - WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE - THEY CERTAINLY MAKE A BAD NAME FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Dear Antonia, Your account with Transport Relief is seriously past due for order in the amount of $200.00. This email is to serve
as a urgent reminder of your delinquent account.Please contact us to make payment arrangements as soon as possible.If no payment has been made within
3 business days of "notice date", your account will be forwarded to a collection agency along with the$150.00 service fee applied.(as explained in paragraph #10 of your contract,along with
applicable returned check fee). Please take immediate action to avoid any additional fees andnegative risks to your credit.
