FYI - this company was shut down by their bank. I have heard they are in the process of finding a new one. Just thought I would let you know.

In response to your question Holly, this is the first time they charged his card. He actually has had the card for a while. I am not sure how long, but if the charges stemmed from when he first got the card, I believe they would have shown in the past. I am having a difficult time understanding how they did what they did, but I am sure with a fast talking telemarketer, they may have gotten my father to agree to somehting they were selling. I am certain he did not give them his card number though. This is what perplexes me the most. Thanks for your questions.

Robert, I am looking into this company and have a few questions for you. Is this the first time they charged your father or were there prior charges? Was the charge before or after your father closed the account? Was this a newly opened account to where a promotion could have been tied to it? Please respond. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

to charge something to an account they would need to have a connection to the credit card company itself... it probably came when the card was applied for... a promotion, etc. if it is true that they did not ever contact your dad or get his account number then it would have to go through the credit card company and they would have all the information. if the card company is reputable they will find out the answer and refund your money... hope it works out for you...
