Charles Dillard and his crew are a train wreck from start to finish.
He will come out to your house and talk a big game, but in actuality he will not ever deliver, even when you have a contract!
He never shows up to work when he says he is, he will destroy your yard because he does not know how to properly operate equipment and he is too cheap to hire anyone qualified to do it. His damage will also cause problems to your neighbor’s yard and you will have to foot the bill for everything!
He will not properly fix your sprinkler system either once he destroys it.
He even destroyed our flower beds by running them over with a bobcat. His guys repaired it, months later, but it looks horrible!
Don’t get him to build an outdoor kitchen for you, he does not know how to properly stain concrete and our brand new countertops are already peeling off.
He never put expansion joints in and our decking and it is cracking all over the place.
My contract was for Diamond Brite Plaster. Upon doing some research, I realized I had to register for my plaster warranty online. I never received any paperwork, so I called the company and they told me I needed a batch number. I contacted Charles and he provided a batch number.
The plaster job did not look right to me as Diamond Brite is supposed to be exposed aggregate and mine was just a solid color. I had a rep. from Diamond Brite come out and that is when I found out he didn’t even use that product at all. The batch number he gave me to register my warranty with DIAMOND BRITE was for a different product all together. So now I have another rep. from that company coming out to no doubt tell me what a poor job he did on my pool!
He will also tell you your gunite has a lifetime warranty, but gives you no paperwork on that either.
Worst of all…this guy who says he’s been in the pool business for years and years didn’t even build our pool to code!
We only found this out after he kept putting off the final inspection. We called the city ourselves and had someone come out.
He took one look at the equipment and told us it was missing a P-Trap which the city requires.
We contacted Charles and he continued with his lies telling us our pool was perfect and everything had passed.
It wasn’t until we contacted a lawyer and the city inspector contacted him personally that he said he would come back and install a P-Trap, but he actually had the nerve to expect us to pay him even more money to do so.
We told him no way was he stepping foot back on our property and destroying the other side of our yard, so we had to pay over a thousand dollars for our pool to even pass inspection.
We hired an attorney to try and get back the thousands of additional dollars he cost us, but don’t even waste your time or money doing that.
He owns nothing and the small amount that he does have, he is sure to put in other people’s name so you cannot collect a judgment against him.
We still have more repair work to do and he will continue to cost us more and more money because we believed this guy’s scam.
Please do yourself a favor and do not hire this company to do any work for you!
