Well let me start with the hotel and customer service,  if you ever think about staying here because of its nice location and amazing pictures, the kindest word of advise i can give you is take you money to motel 6 or the cheapest motel you could possibly find. stay for one  night and then stay at the palm grove and compare the quality of everything between the two. If this hotel beats the quality  you get at any motel in the area I might consider paying for your vacation. 

I reserved a king suit through orbitz through this hotel and paid 512 for two nights , apparently the accepted the reservation and did not have the room available. Orbitz who i will file a second complaint against refused to put me in a different hotel because this hotel already accepted the reservation so i drove 12  hours to virginia beach and did not have a room.  after 4+ hours of arguing with orbitz and the hotel staff i agreed to take a smaller room so they had to refund me 150 since they took my money from orbitz.  Did the refund post ? NO    while i was arguing with the hotel staff some guy who looked like one of the hotel owners managed to erroniously charge me another 128 thinking he is fixing my issue which he wasnt so now they owe me 150 + 128 which they processed refunds (theoretically ) , did the second refund post ? NO  finally i managed to have a wonderful vacation despite staying in the worst hotel with my girlfriend ( thank god she was understanding) i drive 12  hours back to ohio and come monday morning i see an authorization for another 128 from palm grove inn. they charged me for another night after i checked out nice and early.

 

I called them to resolve this and all they could do was run my credit card for another refund which i honestly doubt will post. Now im filling BBB complaints and thinking about taking them to court for more than the 350+ $ they owe me and the inconvenience they caused me. Not only do i have to just assume that the business is a scam full of thieves I have to now take money out of my accound before they charge me for another night "erroniously"

luckily i have a good job and my company provides lawyers but any credible lawyers out there feel free to contact me and help sue these guys to the maximum possible. I have documentation of everything they did wrong anyone who walks into that hotel can tell the staff has no competence whatsoever.

To all consumers , if the reviews online about this hotel dont discourage you from staying at this  hotel take it from me. i would reject staying there even for free. This hotel is so bad that i even put my car keys in the safe ( even though i left my car in ohio), just to let you guys know how i felt about the security integrity  of the place as well. The staff is rude beyond imagination ( poor guys are probably frustrated with terrible management).

PS * while i was arguing with the front desk one of their new employees was arguing that she didnt recieve her pay check after working there for 3 weeks ~ they did not even know her name and now many weeks she had worked there i felt sorry for the young russian lady.

I stayed there for 3 days and i think i can right a customer service guide on what not to do from my experience with this hotel.
