EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

I HAD RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS COMPANY BY A WOMAN OF THE NAME CARRIE PRICE. I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD BEEN APPROVED FOR AN UNSECURED CREDIT CARD FOR 2000.00 AT A 2.95% APR AND THAT THIS COMPANY WAS DESIGNED TO HELP ME IMPROVE MY CREDIT AND GET IT UP TO A-LIST RATING WITHIN SIX MONTHS.

I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED TO PAY A ONE TIME FEE OF 299.00. I TOLD THE GIRL I COULD ONLY AFFORD 150 AND THEN 150.00 AND SHE SAID THAT I WOULD GET MY CARD WITHIN 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE MONEY HAD BEEN DRAWN FROM MY ACCOUNT. WELL I NEVER RECEIVED THE CARD. BUT THE MONEY WAS TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT.

I CONTINUED TO CALL AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE 10-15 DAYS THEN 15-20 DAYS THEN THE BANK DRAFTS WERE BEHIND AND I RECEIVED SOME PACKAGE FOR CREDIT REPAIR AND APPARENTLY THATS WHAT I PAID 299.00 FOR. AND THAT WAS OVER A MONTH LATER.

I HAVE TRIED ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS TO CALL THE COMPANY SINCE THEN BUT I GET NO ANSWER. IT JUST RINGS AND RINGS. ITS ALMOST AS IF THEY HAVE CALLER I.D. BECAUSE AS I CALLED BEFORE I GOT THE PACKAGE I RECIEVED AN ANSWER NOW NONE.

MY MAIN CURIOUSITY OF ALL OF IT IS THOUGH HOW DID THEY GET MY NAME? AND HOW DID THEY KNOW THAT I HAD BEEN TRYING TO APPLY FOR CREDIT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE MY CREDIT. I THINK BACK AND KICK MY SELF FOR GOING ALONG WITH IT WHEN THEY DIDNT EVEN ASK FOR MY SSN BUT THEN AGAIN THEY SAID THAT I HAD APPLIED WITH THEM.

DONT GET SCREWED AS I DID AND DROP A PRAYER THAT I FIND SOMEWAY TO GET MY MONEY BACK.
