Postal Money order sent overnight, received on 4/17/04, so the two vehicles could be moved by 4/24/04, this was even more cash disbursed. Numerous calls, besides the ones listed. Hired co. to move two vehicles on 4/23/04, after I phoned on 4/26, they informed me the driver broke down.
Next pick up date 5/1/04, I called again on 5/4 and the driver back out of the pick up. Also, on 5/4/04 I informed the co. that the vehicles had to be picked up by 5/15/04 . Dealt with Bernice via phone the week of 5/10/04 about the situation of the vehicles having to be on the road by 5/15/04. On 5/14 Bernice informs me that they can't get a driver and to fax a refund request to Lenny Poletto explaining the mishap, on 5/15, Bernice leaves a message on my answering service and states to go with another mover (which I have recorded), since they could not move the vehicles from Wildomar, Ca to Franklinville, NY.
The week of 5/17/04, I tried to contact Mr. Poletto several times a day, leaving my name & return Phone number. Was informed he would call me, never did. Finally, my husband called on 5/22/04, and was connected to Mr. Poletto. Poletto informed him that the contract that we were mailed states no refunds if we cancelled. We never received a letter, or did we cancel the contract. When my husband asked him to listen to the recorded message, in regards to using the other mover, he claimed he didn't need to, and just hung up the phone.
Before we even decided to use this co., we did research about them, and all was good, even on your web site. Sometime, during all the numerous phone calls, they told me not to worry, because they have an upstanding report w/the BBB. There is so much more I could write, in regards to this co.. i worked for this company for about a month. i was fired recently for refusing to continously lie to customers. to my understanding, the company has filed bankruptcy before, and they put the company in a different name, although the same people run it. lenny works from the office with about 7 other employees, and evelyn balan, his wife, works from home. this company tells people they have trucks of their own which is so far from the truth. this is why it takes so long to get cars moved. they are so close to brokers it hurts. they lie and tell people that they have sent out a truck and b/c they couldn't get the car, it would be more money. they lie about the time frame. when they book your car they may say it will take about 3 days. they will say whatever you want, but the truth is they haven't a clue as to when your car will be moved. after a sales person made a sale he or she could no longer talk to a customer. dispatch would get all the dirty nasty calls from irrate customers and would be forced to lie. that is how they do business.
