United Collection Bureau is the worst company to deal with. They are very rude and will do anything and everything to try to scare people into paying debts. They are liars they have broken the laws and will back up their self or their employees stating no action has happened.

I suggest that people read up on their rights and know that these tactics are illegal. The more  educated you are about collection laws the more they will back off. I have dealt with collection agencies for a while, due to me being out of work and not being able to pay. They will threaten jail, or having you arrested. In fact its not aganist the law not to pay a bill nor can you be arrested for not doing so. They also have no power to issue a warrant as only a judge can do that. These are all scare tatics to get you to pay them.

Do not fall for their lies or their tactics. United Collection Bureau has been sued many of times for harassment and of course they deny it. I got a letter stating they were being sued. What bothers me is all these agencies because your debt can get sold to one collection agency after another and they have too much personal information about people. I dont like the fact they have my social security number which in fact they have no business having that information. I think these creditors should be violated for releasing personal information to people to whom you do not conduct business with.

Anyone's social security number is personal information and it's untelling what these collectors do with these numbers and an employee can write all that down and go home and try fradulant things. I think only managers should have access to information such as your personal information not all of their employees.

I know one thing I got alerts on my credit files and I find any collector using my social illegally I will sue to the fullest extent and will not hesitate to do so either.

So my advise to people is to learn your rights when it comes to these shady debt collectors. They are not attorneys as they try to pretend as. Some lawyers are collectors, but that dont act like these iditos do. A real attorney will give you their bar number and you will know if its a legite attnorney. Do not let these debt collectors scare you.
