United Financial Credit Aka Jm Management ripoff- fraud - charges of 3000 that are not mine, they refuse to take them off. Lakewood colorado
I ordered a credit report only to find a 3000 dollar charge that was not mine from a company called United Financial Credit. I called the company to find out that they sold subscriptions and memberships to "shopping clubs" around the country. Then I remembered that back in 1998 I had gotten "suckered" into ordering a membership to a shopping club, that I cancelled the same day, after some thought. The company called "uni-mart of okalahoma" continued to debit money out of my bank account so I closed it. I contacted uni mart and they said yes it was closed and that an error had been made, but the money was never refunded.
United Financial Credit refused to satisfy my request, saying they had no record of the cancellation and I owed them 3000 dollars, even though I had never purchased any goods or received any services from uni-mart. They also stated uni mart was no longer an active business. The next day my wife called the number for United Financial Credit from another phone and was told she could purchase a membership to uni mart of oklahoma and that they had locations all over the country. The complete opposite of what I was told.
When I called United Financial Credit the next day they offered to settle for 1500 if I paid them within 24 hours via money transfer. NO! I do not owe this company a thing, their report on the better business bureau is highly unsatisfactory and clearly a scam company.
I think someone needs to file legal action and quickly, the state of ok. has already done so, stay away from United Financial Credit. They are theives in the worst way and are getting away with it daily.
