I have been trying to get my $40 rebate on promo # 90-1065 since 12/2003 that was offered throuh Best Buy. I initially mailed my submission on 11/29/2003. After calling when it was overdue, I received no apology and was told it would be another 8 weeks without any reason.

Since then, I moved to a different address and found out a check was supposedly sent to my old address, but was probably returned because the post office doesn't forward checks. I've attempted to call at least 5 times, but am met with a request to leave a message. None of those messages were answered. I've sent many email messages at buslink.com and most were also unanswered except twice. Once, they claimed you had no record of my rebate submission and another, I finally received a message that my rebate resubmission was approved on 7/1/04 from checkrebates.com. But of course, 12 weeks later, no rebate check.

Now when I call, there is no one to speak to about this matter. Three times I called today, and each time when I explain the situation and want to talk to someone and specifically tell them not to forward me to the rebate extension because it's just a recording telling me I need to write a letter, that's exactly what they did each time.

Call 1-800-Best-Buy and talk to their friendly rebate department. I had copy of everything submitted (need transaction codes off of Best Buy rebate receipt). Best Buy has taken over the rebates for 3 companies. Buslink USA is one of the companies. The CSR told me that there is absolutely NO TIME LIMIT on resolving problems with rebates from this particular company. HOWEVER, they do not have record of who had submitted rebates, so she said they need to have people call the 800-BEST-BUY number to report the problem. Resolution expected in 10-15 days. HIstory - I too found the Buslink people in Baldwin Park unhelpful! One hung up on me, and the other told me that they are "Buslink Media", not "Buslink USA". Perhaps legal name change gets them off the hook??? Kindest regards! P.s.- Phone call to BestBuy took total of about 10 minutes w/2 minute wait-queue. Not bad for a 1.8 year old rebate!
