Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I am a former UOP student. I got my degree in June 2006. The main reason to pursue an MBA was to be able to teach, either business or management courses in an undergrad level. I'd been applying for teaching jobs after graduation at many community colleges and online programs just like Phoenix. The feedback I am receiving is that based on my transcripts, I do not have sufficient credits to teach. The reason being is because the courses are not properly coded. In Florida, the main requirements set by the Higher Learnings Association( NOrth Central, Middle States, Etc)is to possess 18 credits in any discipline. For instance, I want to teach management, I need 6 courses coded MGT or whatever course code they might use.

The bottom line is that I feel frustrated and overwhelmed with the responses I received. I just recalled when I took my first course at UOP, I felt so delighted and enthusiastic, but in the mid of my program, I realized that this whole thing was a charade and I was getting a "copy and paste degree". I am still taking menial jobs for a living and I owe 70K in student loans. UOP sends extra(living arrangement) money just as a retention technique. They drowned people in debt just because they need a high conversion rates with the enrollments and retention is a crucial element. AS a result, I am facing some financial dillemas. I would like to become part or initiate a class action lawsuit against them. It is not only unfair, but unethical and misleading.
