We should not have to be treated like this its not right but its happening. These online schools are cause so much pain and they need to be called out on what they doing. When i recieved the call it was this nice lady who i trusted and thought was telling me the truth. Being young and a single mom who wonted to got to college i thought this was going to be the right thing for me. My little sister had just signed up and she was happy about it. The people that had worked with my little sister told my mom that since my sister was young my mom had to apply for a plus loan. They told my mom that she would be denied the loan but that it was part of the process. My mom was wondering why when the loans my sister had took out. Was twice enough to cover her schooling. They aproved the loan and now my mom got to pay and they promised her she would be denied and they talking about taking the money out her lay check and we have no money to be paying for loans we ant seen no money. They told me that grants will cover mines and soon as i found off they was a rip off school and got ready to transfer they failed me everytime it was time for me to get my money so i can pay out of pocket. What they doing to people is not right and i wont to sue them for pain and suffering they have cause me and my family and its plenty of people going threw the same thing with this school now i'm a student at everest and they not answering my calls or emails.

#2Consumer Suggestion

First of all, your sister's age would have nothing to do with her getting a loan, assuming she was over 18. So someone told a lie (no surprise, but you won't be able to prove it unless you have a paper trail). Second, no reputable school would tell you or your mother to apply for a loan if they knew, in advance, she would be denied.  If your mom knew that your sister's loans were adequate to cover tuition, why did she apply at all?

Both you and your sister need to get a full accounting of all tuition charged, loans received and credited, and balance due. Then get the heck out and find a reputable school. Your username says you're from Columbus, GA. There are at least three traditional schools there that I know of. I'm sure that any one of them would be happy to get you enrolled. I suggest starting with English.
