and his company are a SHAM!!

RBSL Group is committed to helping small business owners obtain the working capital they need to succeed.
This company has horrible customer service, and when I asked for a refund, they said no. This company was built on aggressive sales people, and no back office support, as they have no product or service to actually support. It appears they want to run silly little reports, never deliver actual lists of banks that will provide financing, and certainly are not "committed to helping small business owners" other than themselves.
This explains why this companies sales process is full of lies and misrepresentations - the Owner himself, Richard Ferguson, was looking to hire "aggressive" salespeople.

I received the following reponse from this company, now from someone at fundinguniverse.com -
We have been in
regular contact with the client since he purchased our service. As part
of the service, we provided our client with a list of to do items that
he needed to work on to improve his profile, and our client did not
like the action items that we proposed. We have tried to resolve this
matter by offering a partial refund to the client, which he declined.
This refund is the best we can offer. We are eager to resolve this
matter.
I replied to the UT BBB with the following:
This company is making the "WE" comment a little too often.
"We"
does not mean this company made any effort to contact myself to settle
this matter. "I" called this company 9 times after I received this last
report, and immediately started asking for a refund, as it was a
complete falsification of what they represent.
The rep even
admitted that they dropped the ball and did not follow up with any of
my requests for assistance, then further for a refund.
I
repeatedly asked if my credit report would be pulled during this
process. I was told "NO" by the salesperson. It was in fact pulled by
this company.
I was then told that after the report "We would
be applying for unsecured lines with local and national banks and
lending institutions. This company should be saying that "You will be
applying for credit." Very misrepresentative of what actually happens
after this nonsensical report is issued.
I am increasing my
request for a full 2800 refund to be issued for all reports issued by
this company. My credit has been damaged, my time has been wasted, and
I have lost complete faith that this company has any good intentions
when it comes to helping small businesses.
I am preparing a
suit to be filed to receive full compensation for damages due to
reduced credit scores as a direct result of the false claims and gross
misrepresentations of this company.
I am eager to resolve this matter as well.

I then left my phone number as well.
To date, I have never recieved a single company that would be willing to lend to my company, my credit scores have been reduced as a direct result of this company pulling my credit, and I am out over $2800.
This should not be allowed to happen to a small business.
The sales practices of this company are very, very aggressive, and the customer service is pathetic once they have all your money for services which will never be performed.
I intend to carry on this fight until full restitution is issued.

I finally got someone to talk with, and he volunteered a 1k rebate of the 2k I requested. As a small business owner, I suggested the 800$ additional I already paid should be enough to run a couple reports, and then provide no follow through on the actual promise of, and I quote directly from their site - "We base our funding estimates on conversations with underwriting contacts and based on the thousands of clients we have taken to banks and lenders in the last several months." "WE" were never taken to anyone in the banking industry for any type of loan program. Period.

I just got this threatening letter from RBSL after I filed a complaint with the South Jordan UT BBB and also asked for the refund via AMEX. When I tried to call and discuss - STILL NO RETURN PHONE CALL!!! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The email from RBSL is: Our office has received notice that you have charged back the credit card you used to pay for our service. This is your notice that we are a Registered McArda Score Reporting Agency. If your recent (chargeback/dispute) is successful, you will be reported to McArda. Please see (((Redacted))) for details. You have NOT YET been reported as of the date of this email. McArda is a drastic step that we hate to take, as it can result in travel restrictions, adverse credit ratings, denial of online and retail purchases including rental cars, denial of mortgages and leases, credit card purchase refusals even with good credit, and even negative employer and job background reports. You can see why we always try to work out problems before using it! Please cancel your chargeback immediately, and work out your dissatisfaction with our customer service department.
