Up Front Money BIG TIME RIP OFF!!! Nationwide Internet
About 9 months ago I had requested a payday loan from upfront money. After receiving a email stating that I was approved, i sent all the nessesary paperwork over. About 4 days later I actually got a copy of the contract and was amazed at what i read. This compant offers phone cards for 1 year at a rate of 89.90 a month. I had no need for a phone card considering I have free long distance on my cell phone. After finding this infomation out I tried to contact the company to no avail.
Once day 30 had reached in trying to contact them via email and phone, I went to my bank and asked to have the fund returned less the 200 that was intially given to me. Also I had a block placed on the account so that they could no longer take money from me. The money was placed back into my account, which has since been closed, and a block placed by my bank.
Now 6 months later I am receiving phone calls from a place claiming to be a lawyers office called sterling and king. The women Natalie was very nice at first when I breifly explained the situation. After faxing over the documents that i received from upfront money stating my account was paid in full and closed she called back screaming at me. After trying to have a civil conversation with this women it was left that I would be seeking legal rep if this was taken to court. Also another side note, these supposed phone card that were to be sent were never received.
